^I know Canada has its problems. People like money....lol I've heard that it doesn't pay as well there, so people don't choose it as a profession... Thus you have a shortage of medical care providers. This is a concern for people considering national health insurance for our country. People aren't going to go through years of school and not get paid well...

I live in a very small town, and it's as good as the doctor treating the patient. You're right; it's a crap shoot. I don't know what they're doing at our local hospital's ER. Apparently, they don't have enough people skilled at finding a vein for an IV or blood draw. Almost all of our critical care patients are phobic of needles after a stay there. The patients might be getting treatment, but the leave with phobias...WTF? This just started happening in the last year or so.

I live in area with second generation hippies...lol Our neighbor's kid has a second name of Bear. It's cute. His little brother is Coyote. (I just wish their mom was more together.) I work with people named Krishna, Freedom, etc...lol

LOL Amylou... I don't know what the story is with this guy, but some alcoholics screw up their stomachs and have a hard time drinking -- getting the alcohol they need to prevent withdrawals. This sounds like something addict would do.

Well Shit....I always knew there was a benefit to swearing. I swear around people who I know well... It does relieve stress and put it all in perspective....lol But I wouldn't in front of our patients or employees who are ultra professional at work. I imagine it would be stressful to hear something like if you didn't like it.

I loved to garden, but the sun fries the yard every summer. I've planed things and all but a few things have died off. I gave up. When I move to a better climate, I plan to do it again.
