Ben finished assembling my bike! He had a few problems toward the end. I'm taking it to the bike shop today for final adjustments to the brakes, gears, and seat. Make sure the wheels are straight. I hope I can ride it today! Ben put Gizmo's basket on too, and Gizmo fits in it perfectly.

Are you an early bird or a night owl?
-
When do you pay your bills?
-
No, that's sad. She doesn't rock at all.

^ It's so awesome, Rick, how great your band is doing! Still hoping I get to see you play sometime!
-
^ LOL Liberty! Sounds like your mom rocks!

Hi Ben! I'm so glad you joined us!

I'm still holding out hope for a residency in Chicago! Or I'll fly to the east coast if I have to. I so want to see a show in a small venue with the groovy setlists!

I have my future DIL's bridal shower on 8/17
I'm going up to Green Bay one day to visit an old friend. We're going to Door County to ride on a catamaran.
When Ben finishes assembling my bike (I hope soon - he's almost done) I plan to take Gizmo on bike rides.
I'm going to start watching Breaking Bad on August 11th, and finish the first season of Orange is the New Black on Netflix.
I'll be caring for Miles, as usual, and watching him grow like a weed. He'll be 8 months old on the 12th.

Oh, gee, too embarrassing to recount, I think.

Five: two TPATH concerts, Paul McCartney, Melissa Etheridge, and Chris Isaak.

How many concerts will you have gone to this summer by the end of this month?
-
It's August 5th!
What fun things do you have planned for this last month of summer?

^ Jane Russel LOL!
The boys look great! Thanks for sharing SLQ!

LOL! I know, right?Oh my goodness. Nearly half the people didn't pick summer. That's just crazy talk. :-) -

But we need some "new classics" that they can play at shows that everyone knows which could replace Free Fallin, etc.
I just don't know how a new classic can be created. Classic artists are only played on classic rock stations, but not their new stuff. At least here in Milwaukee, there is no station that plays new songs by the great, established, been-around-the-block artists. I would love a station that plays new material by TPATH, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, John Fogerty, plus countless others I can't think of right now. A mix of old and new material would make a great radio station for me. There is no such thing here, though. Do others here on the Farm have broadcast radio stations like this?

Summer for sure! It's too short here in Wisconsin, though.

Oh, sorry Martin, I didn't get the joke. I tend to take things literally.
Two albums 8 years apart this century. I didn't see that as a pattern. No talk of a solo album or Mudcrutch album in between, so I think they have time to finish this one soon. -
^ I like your idea of attitude and edge, Brandon. I'm also looking for straight-out rock 'n' roll, Nurk! Tom mentioned the music will be "distorted." I'm trying to imagine that. What do you think he means by that?

I love that I'm meeting my Petty friend, April, in Chicago to go to the Amos Lee concert in November. We're spending the night, and then sight-seeing on Saturday. Still deciding whether to drive or take the train from Milwaukee. I've never traveled by train before, only had some rides on several.
