    The trees start budding.

    The ice goes off the lake.

    Moving the firewood out of the sun porch, bringing up the table and chairs from the basement, and arranging the furniture.

    Setting out the outdoor furniture on the deck and patio.

    5. When do you break out your spring and summer wardrobe?

    As soon as it hits 60 I'm in shorts.


  3. I've had two cats and I loved them.

    We found Kitty (original name) living in a garbage can outside. My mom and I started feeding him, but Mom warned me that Dad would never let me keep him. I fell in love, and begged Dad to let me have the cat for my birthday. I vowed I would never want another birthday present! After a few tears, Dad relented.

    Kitty spent the first night in our house curled up on my chest purring the whole night. He was my sweetheart, and slept with me every night after that.

    (Dad never held me to my vow.) ;)
