  1. (((Tim))) I'm sorry to hear of the recent deaths in your family. Cancer steals so many lives way too early. I hate it.
  2. Posted by JohnsonBibbyWag yesterday in "There has to be a new album soon" thread in Great Wide Open: http://www.mudcrutch.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5946&page=3
  3. Welcome to the Farm, TwoGunslingers! "That's the last one of these gunfights you're ever gonna drag me to!" I love that line.
  4. We mow the lawn ourselves. It's very wooded here and pretty rustic, so we don't fuss at all. We don't use any kind of lawn products.
  5. I'm not sure what overly happy means, but I think happiness and good moods are contagious.
  6. I had no idea Steve was ill. Great news that he's recovering so well!
  7. In the morning, I sleep late, then read the paper in a leisurely way, drink coffee, and watch the Sunday political talk shows.
  8. 1. Would you return to high school life for a week? Why or why not? (If you're currently in high school, would you redo your experiences in high school so far?) If I were high-school age again with the same kids I went to school with - sure. 2. What is/was your favorite subject in high school? Drama and English 3. What is/was your favorite high school hangout? What do/did you do there? During school lunch break we sat around the end of the hall where our lockers were shooting the breeze. Out of school we drove to Rice Lake and cruised around looking for boys. 4. Who are/were your favorite three teachers in high school? My English/Drama teacher, my German teacher, and one of my Science teachers 5. What was the craziest thing you did in high school? Too many to mention, usually involving alcohol (outside of the school day). 6. Take this quiz - Who Were You In High School? You Were the Popular Kid In high school, everyone knew your name - even if you didn't know theirs. In fact, your still skating by on your looks and charm. Nothing wrong with that! Definitely not skating by on my looks at 47! haha. I never did anyway. I participated in lots of activities, and had fun.
  9. I would love to. It would be a great adventure. I would live somewhere in Europe so that I could explore the continent. Finding a job would be the hard part since I'm not independently wealthy.
  10. Oh (((Morgan))) My heart goes out to you and your family.
  11. ^^Looks like what he had. Either he's trying to quit, or they didn't allow smoking there.
  12. I think Steve is probably a better drummer as far as technique. Stan was more dynamic and entertaining on stage. But when Steve flashes that smile, he dims all the lights on stage.
  13. I picked You're Gonna Get It!, but it's very hard to say. The last album I've listened to is usually my favorite.
  14. ^ Oh Vincent! I love Vincent too. Magnolia, you must know that USA channel starts new CI episodes on Sunday, right? I'm looking forward to some new shows. I know the reruns by heart.
  15. It's really strange how a song affects people differently. I am shocked that everyone doesn't LOVE Srangered in the Night and Southern Accents. Those are two of my favorites! Southern Accents and Rebels are my absolute favorite songs, though the album as a whole is somewhat disjointed. I used to think I didn't care for Jammin' Me, but lately I'm liking it more. I love the bands' covers except for Mystic Eyes. It puts me to sleep.
  16. Great picture, SLQ! I was hoping to see one of Ron at the ceremony. I thought he was chewing on the cap of a pen - waiting to get someone's autograph?
  17. Very selfish, deluded, and irresponsible. She's living in some alternate world if she thinks she can support and care for 14 children. She must think she can support the family by living off the notoriety (that the media eats up) of her bizarre situation. If someone offers her a reality show deal, I will be disgusted. It encourages other wackos who want attention.
  18. I don't think Mayer is a crooner. Less singing more trumpet playing. Steve was back in the corner quietly playing.
  19. I said the nineties because I so loved Seinfeld.
  20. I so agree! Your dad must know it too, but he's self-involved with the surgery, and not thinking of anyone else. Everyone should be so lucky to have such a concerned daughter.
