Air popped with salt and real butter. I don't want healthy, just good!

Emmie, I'm sorry for your sad anniversary. Today is my Mom's birthday, too. She just died in February, so we had to celebrate without her. My brother and his family brought over birthday cake. I know Dad appreciated it.

Mom would have been 75 today. We all had birthday cake in her honor. She wouldn't have wanted to discuss her age, though. Love you, Mom:heart:

Yes, definitely.

Thanksgiving dinner always brings happy memories and that feeling of family.

I have to go with the classic, Bela Lugosi. One of my favorite movies, Ed Wood, is about Lugosi (somewhat) and stars Johnny Depp. I highly recommend it!

They're my son's favorite band. I'll have to listen to his copy just to hear Rebels.

"...found fame in the U.K. and abroad before establishing a fanbase in their native country, where they were largely ignored by mainstream music outlets." Sounds like another band we know. -

SingsInFrench replied to LizzieB's topic in Great Wide Open
Thanks for posting these performances. I love them. I'm hoping to see Works Progress Administration when they come around these parts in December. I don't think Benmont will be with them, though. -
Hi Ref! Yeah, I've been away too long. I got wrapped up in Facebook - looking at my kids and relatives pictures. I think I'm over it now - lol.

That Illustration reminded me of "The Little Fur Family" which I loved because of the adorable furry creatures. I liked all the Little House books, esp. the first, because it took place in Wisconsin, I think. I also liked the Grimm Bros Fairy Tales because they were kind of scary.

It was actually my brother's, but I listened to it all the time. He still has all his albums, but now I have it on CD.

Me too. I set the sleep timer on the TV so it turns off after an hour or so. I need the noise, so that my brain has something to listen to instead of thinking. Music is too energizing, esp. TPATH.

I feel guilty for being a horrible gift-shopper, and buying gift cards, but I do it anyway.

Poor guy...probably couldn't think clearly 'cause his ass was numb.

Nothing too strenuous. When I lived in Green Bay, we had an interesting race. At the water stops you could choose to drink beer instead. The Beer Belly Two: http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/article/99999999/GPG0101/806230552/0/specials01

I wonder if the Vikings will talk Brett Favre into coming out of retirement again to play for them.

1. What album/cd do you play when you are happy? Most any Beatles album or TPATH album except Echo. 2. What album/cd do you play when you're sad? Echo makes me cry. It's cathartic when I'm sad. Also most any Dylan. 3. What was the last song you listened to? Things Have Changed - Dylan 4. What was the last song or album/cd you purchased? Mudcrutch as a gift 5. Do you sing along to songs when you're alone? Yes. I especially like to sing in the car when I'm alone, but I'll also sing with my kids in the car. 6. Take this quiz - What Does Your Taste in Music Say About You? Your Taste in Music Says You're Wild Your musical tastes are intense and rebellious. You are intelligent... but in a very unconventional way. You are curious about the world. You love doing something new. In fact, you enjoy taking risks and doing things most people would shy away from. You are very physical. It's likely that you're athletic, but not into team sports. You have the soul of an artist. Beauty and harmony are important to you.
