I'm lucky, no. I used to be very allergic to ragweed, but I've outgrown it.

Thanks for sharing pics of your trip!

May means the weather will be better than April, but not yet as nice as June.
-
It got to 54 here today, partly cloudy, and a bit windy. The weekend is supposed to be nicer.

I like my electric toothbrush.

Definitely read. I'm a better reader than I am a listener.

Happy Birthday Beth!!

This morning when I turned on the tv, the first face I saw was Bob's! It was an interview with Douglas Brinkley, who interviewed Bob for the next issue of RS (hits newstands Friday I think). I haven't been enamored of RS for a long time, but I am definitely getting this one for that article, based on this interview. I think it will outshine the Flanaghan piece used by dylan.com to promote the new album.
Fwiw, here's a link to the video (I hope it works):

Thanks for the link. Interesting interview of the interviewer!! It sounds like a really good one. I'll have to pick up a copy too. (I also have to mention the picture of Tom & Bob that was put up on the screen:heart:)

^ Me too...not so much my own prom as my daughter's. The pre- and post-prom festivities were at our house for three years in a row. Fun times!
How fun! I have two boys. They went to a large high school and neither one was interested in going to prom (or any dances!) I feel like I missed out!!

I love seeing all the prom pictures...it takes me back.

Everyone must do something nice for themselves today.
The one who is nicest to themselves has already won!
Get busy Farmers!!

My favorite part of Last Dance is when Tom props the dead woman up on the couch and turns on the TV, "asking" do you want to watch? She flops over, and Tom turns the TV off, "saying" No? Okay. ~giggle~

Some of you worry me. Is your lack of sleep routine? Or just a bad night? I couldn't function on so little sleep, and I would soon be sick. (((my sleep-deprived farmers)))

I hate horse racing. They're breeding huge muscular bodies on the horses' spindly legs. A misstep can bring catastrophe. It seems it's becoming common-place to have injuries and deaths resulting from horse racing. How can putting these beautiful animals at risk of death be entertaining?

I don't think I would take a cruise anywhere near the horn of Africa.

1. Name one thing you like/liked about your mother, and one thing you dislike/disliked -
I liked Mom's liberal mind, love of reading, and the ability to see the humor in even difficult situations.
I disliked her stoicism. I could have used more affection.
2. Name one thing you like/liked about your father, and one thing you dislike/disliked -
I like Dad's devotion to family.
I dislike his sometimes narrow mind.
3. Do you look more like your mother or more like your father?
A little of both - Mom's nose and chin, Dad's hair and eyes.
4. Name a trait you inherited from your mother, and one trait you inherited from your father -
From Mom I inherited her love of reading; from Dad, his love of family.
5. Do/Did you get along with your parents?
Mom and I had a battle of wills when I was a teenager. After that we were the best of friends. I get along great with Dad as long as he remembers I'm an adult.
6. Take this quiz - Is Your Family Dysfunctional? I'm sure we had/have our share of dysfunction.

I have to say Crystal River. I swear, that song just takes me to another place. It relaxes me and I can go to sleep. I should go listen to it now, lol.
lol - Crystal River affects me the same way. I love the song even though it puts me to sleep. Not boring, but relaxing.
For waking up, I Can See Clearly Now is a great song.

One year of track. I was nauseous before the meets from nerves, and after my events from running so hard. I decided my sophomore year that I hadn't really had a good time.
