  1. I loved (and still do) Halloween. I loved Casper, also I'm a huge Munsters fan. I just didn't like Scooby Doo.
  2. Love it, SLQ! The little guitar pin is so cute!
  3. I watch it all the time if I am home, I love That Metal Show! Barb, they definitely rerun it during the week. If I come across it, I'll let you know!
  4. Haven't done this in awhile. In the style of Family Feud type questions, here we go! 1. Name a state that gets a lot of tourists. 2. Name a celebrity you would most hate to sit next to on a long flight. 3. Name something in your kitchen you would hate to have break before hosting a dinner party. 4. Name an occasion when people take a lot of pictures. 5. Name a way you can tell that Halloween is coming. 6. Name a type of store you might find in a strip mall.
  5. I love this song and I do hope they'll release it down the road.
  6. Oops, thought I added that, sorry! It's on VH1 Classics.
  7. Love it, thanks everyone. I just love The Mamas and The Papas. Here's one from The Baby's. It's an obscure one, but the guitar and drums are so cool in this tune I think. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_Vi04Rjxnc]The Babys ーLooking For Love - YouTube[/ame]
  8. Tonight is the season finale of That Metal Show. Heart is going to be on there, as well as Lita Ford. So set your dvr's or whatever you do to record or watch in real time if you're gonna be around!
  9. Sharon, I am with you! The R 'N R Hall Of Fame is ridiculous! I think it's an atrocity that all of the above are not in there!
  10. Have fun, Liz! I'm excited for Monday night. Going into Philly for restaurant week with some of my girlfriends!
  11. I love those photos of Tom! Thanks for posting them, Winnie!
  12. I think I'm the only one on the planet who was not a Scooby Doo fan. I guess because I thought it was too ridiculous that it was always too easy to figure out "whodunnit." I could never believe it took them half an hour to figure it out! LMAO!
  13. I loved those too, Marion. Still do! But my all time favorite is The Flintstones!
  14. Tomato salad with fresh basil, little salt and pepper, maybe some onion seasoning or fresh onion sliced thin, drizzled with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I could seriously live on this.
  15. You are a Winner... 1. Do you feel that you are you a lucky person? Sometimes. Like you have all said, I'm very lucky in that I have many people in my life who love and care about me and vice versa. 2. Have you ever won a contest, sweepstakes, or raffle? Yes. 3. In your opinion, what constitutes a good prize? Whatever it is that means anything to you. 4. How often do you enter your name into sweepstakes or raffle drawings? Every so often. 5. What is the best thing you have ever won?A few thousand dollars on a craps table in New Mexico.
  16. I also regret miss seeing the guys at The Fillmore in '97. I also regret missing Black Sabbath on their Heaven and Hell tour a few years back. Don't know where my head was on that one! Some others include Queen, Led Zeppelin, and Elton John. I know Elton still plays, but I'm talking back in the Captain Fantastic Days. I would love the time machine option too, Brandon!
  17. Thanks everyone! It really was a most incredible experience, don't think I'll ever get to go to something like that again! I am so grateful for having been invited.
  18. I was telling some of the girls yesterday that in the comments to this video on youtube, someone had posted that John Waite looks like their Aunt Barbara back then. LMAO! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MS1pb648q2A]Every Time I Think Of You The Babys - YouTube[/ame]
  19. Last night was beyond awesome. It was so much fun being in the studio recording a live cd with him and his band. Like I said in other threads, the drummer and the bass player are guys we know from back in the day. We didn't know what to expect when we walked in. I guess I was kind of expecting to be sitting down behind glass, mikes above us and them behind glass too. Not so. It was a very small studio concert hall, like someone's big living room. There were about 100 of us there. It was very intimate and I'm going to be very curious how big (or small) they're going to make this sound. They played a great little show. Did a mix of some Baby's stuff, some of his solo stuff and some Bad English stuff as well. They played for 2 hrs. I took some pictures. They didn't turn out that great, but they're ok. I also am going to post a few that a friend of mine took. I don't know who here likes John Waite, but if you do you really need to go see him and his band if they come anywhere near you.
  20. I want to change my answer to the John Waite studio show I went to last night!
  21. Happy Birthday, Barb! Hope it's a great day! Love ya!
  22. Yeah, this is a toughie for sure. I'm gonna say the ones I've shared with so many of my friends. The very last being a Get The Led Out show I saw last March. Went with so many special friends. It was a really great night.
  23. I dunno, Marion. I don't have any nerds in my family and I find it hilarious!
