    Awww Nel, how sweet. Poor little thing.

    Well, I actually learned this last night... but when my mom was still here, my brother was head strong about her getting up and out of bed, walking around, sitting in a chair a few times a day, etc... Well, for the most part, I would get her moving. But, there were days she was in so much pain, or she felt so weak, I didn't push it. I would always tell her, though, "Don't let Joe know... if he asks, tell him "yeah a few times." Well, she didn't. And on those days, when Joe would ask her if she'd walked or how many times she sat in her chair, she told him the truth! So, then he'd ask me later... "Was she up?" And there I would go lying... "Oh yeaaaahhh... a few times, and she sat in the chair...." And he knew all along. So, there I was sympathizing with her, and letting her slide here and there. But when questioned, she threw me right under the bus... thanks Mom! :003:

    I confess to finding more doodles about Tom... apparently, not only is he a fox, he is a foxy hunk, too! LMAO! "Hunk.." oi vey.

    And did ya know... that as of 1982, Tom Petty had been my honey for 3 years already? Yep, it's in writing... so it must be true. LMAO! :043:

    I thought I'd fill you all in... I found out why Emmie has been MIA for the past week or so. Turns out... she is very sick... she has pneumonia! :085:

    Her blood sugars are way off because of it, as well, causing her even more problems and making her feel worse. She really can't do a whole lot but sleep and lie in bed. It will probably be a little while longer before we see her online again. Let's all send her some good thoughts... hoping she gets better very quickly!

    I would love to hear this band live. Maybe there is hope for the rest of us to get to see them live. I guess I may have to get brave and travel alone; I couldn't get any of my family to go with me to any of the concerts this time around due to their work constraints and hectic schedules, and I feel really left out. I am looking forward to my pre-ordered album from Mudcrutch.

    Awwww.. you should have gone.. I am going it alone myself. I don't care... just like at The Vic, you meet so many great people... and you all have something in common. I can't wait!

    And YAY! More Mudcrutch! Bring it on, baby!

    Yes Amy, I mean emmie. I hope she is ok, too. Maybe I will give her a call tomorrow night... to check in. I emailed her like 5-6 days ago, and got no reply... that isn't like her. It might take a day or two sometimes, but usually she is pretty quick to respond.

    Oops... almost forgot... Whenever I wrote to him, I adorned the envelope with all kinds of art.. and sprayed them with perfume, LMAO... in thinking that they would stand out and would surely get opened by SOMEONE.. and they of course would pass it along to Tom. God, I can't believe I am admitting all this!

    Wouldn't Tom be mortified today if he heard all this? LOL!!!
