^ I think you're right, Linda. Much as I love Tom, I really don't think he can still sing alot of stuff. Like you all have said.. I'll believe in them mixing up the set list, or anything else when I see it. And... I got bashed for this officials... but, this is why I don't... and WILL not be reading ANY reviews until after I see my 3 shows. Why? Because I want to be surprised.. simple as that. I started thinking when this tour was first announced, how much fun it all used to be back in the day... before the internet... you didn't know what the hell anyone was going to play. I want that again. Don't get me wrong.. I have had fun at the shows in the most recent years.. but I just want to add that extra element of surprise this time around.

I don't care too much for this one. However, I thought it hysterical when, before they played this at The Troubadour, Tom Leadon was telling the story about playing at Dub's.. and there were 6 or so girls who danced there regularly... He started to name them, but then was having trouble recalling some of their names.. Tom knew them all! LMAO! He'd pipe in.. "Vanessa..." and then Tom L. would say "Yeah, yeah, Vanessa..." I just really thought it was funny.

I am dread, dread, DREADING this yard sale tomorrow... are we nuts? Didn't I tell someone on here recently how nuts they were for having a yard sale? And what are we doing? All I know is... I am NOT playing around... the prices are what they are.. we MAY bargain a few items, but no ridiculous offers will be met!

No, I don't live in the house. I am living at my brother's house.... it was supposed to be a temporary thing when I moved back from California... but I never left, LOL. It worked out for us all, though... he's got a huge house and we sort of help one another out. I do plan on buying something within the next year or so.. a condo or townhouse probably.

This is a really pretty song. I love how Tom sings it. I was lucky I got to see them play it the first night at The Troubadour... they dropped it by the next night.

It is indeed very trippy. I said to Kianna at the Troubadour the first night they were playing it... I said "You need to lay down with headphones on, smoking a big fat joint to this one." LOL!!! The thing is, you don't even HAVE to do that... this song just takes you there... just takes you away. I love, love, LOVE it!!!!

I saw it! I had just gotten into bed and was channel surfing for something to fall asleep to (yes, I HAVE to have the TV on to fall asleep). And yep, I hit it right at the time they said "Let's get Tom Petty!" and then Tom appeared..LOL. Yeah, the likeness was good, the voice was horrible. "Tom Petty Cadabra!" <~~~ THAT cracked me up.. what the heck???

I love it too. The lyrics ARE great... and for me, I especially love the opening line "My love's an ocean and you better not cross it." In other words... don't f*ck me over, LOL!
