I said "somewhat" only because it's been a long week with all that's happened and I gotta catch up on housework, I've put it off badly this week....sure wish there were more hours in a day.

^Ditto what Toni said. Sounds to me she just wants to get into this country and rushing it is not a good way to do it. There's always emails, internet, phone calls and like ya said Patty, he could go up there and stay awhile. I think she should realize, if she really loves him, that absence makes the heart grow fonder. If it's meant to be, it will be, but to "use" him to get to stay here, that's scary.

Do a bit of cleaning this morning, then going for a Ladies "afternoon" out bowling and then having a late lunch, early dinner,, whatever.. lol.

I was at work that morning. I worked in an injection molding plant where they made plastic parts. I was making my inspector rounds going to each machine. We had music playing over the loud speakers and when the 1st plane hit, the manager turned the music off to make the annoucement, I was telling ppl 'what a horrible plane crash', then a few minutes later he announced about the other plane...my heart just sank. Everyone just stood still in shock with all the machines running. The mold techs then started scrambling to turn off the machines, we all then stood there in a silent prayer. When I got home and watched the news, I watched in horror thinking OMG....my heart was heartbroken knowing all those lives were lost. I'm flying my flag today in their remembrance...I'll NEVER forget that morning.

I love that I got to see and hold little Isabelle before her mom took her to the doctor's for a checkup...she's all the way up to 13 lbs.

I wish I had a pain pill, I dropped the iron skillet on my foot a bit ago and it's throbbing.

Last week we had the heat on, esp. at night....this week the A/C is on, night and day.

Sugar, Holly was great...I hope she wins! But I couldn't find where to vote either, I clicked on everything....

Gotta go to store to get some things, then going to visit my friend...he's finally home in his own house and his own bed. His other daughter is staying with him now, the one that had his 11th grandbaby this summer, so I'll get to hold and play with her . Have a great day, everyone!
