Thanks Beth...I'm watching The Golden Girls on Hallmark right now and the advertisement for this show just came on....it'll be on here at 8pm central, 9pm eastern this Saturday, the 16th. I auto-set the TV for it ....might go ahead and buy the DVD too!

I'm semi-retired so it doesn't matter now. Places I have worked before didn't let us off at all. Hubby is off, tho.

My mom and mother n law used to can, but I haven't done it yet. I'm planning on doing it next year tho, we will have a huge garden then. We also have fruit trees here of apples and peaches, but they didn't do too good this year so looking forward to next year.

My grandmother was raised on a Cherokee indian reservation in OK and I would ask him how it was back then. I said his career as a Beatle because I love all the Beatles songs. I love alot of his songs during his solo career but not all of them. My list on favorites on both careers are to many to list here.

Hope everything was ok and mom and baby are doing fine.

We have 2 near here...Lake Hamilton and Lake Ouachita. Ouachita is the prettiest one, has 1000 mile shoreline and is super clear, people from all over the US come to visit and see it. I enjoy swimming and fishing there.
