LOL Rick!! I was just thinking the same! I hope to have a mini-ranch taking care of all different kinds of animals and have enough money saved up to take trips once or twice a year.

1)...Spent 2 hours earlier today fixing and cleaning out the portable A/C. Before I have to clean the coils again I'm gonna invest in a air compressor, we used a sprayer but the air compressor would have took 1/2 the time and would have been alot easier, so will probably buy one tomorrow. 2) About to fix supper 3) Feed the babies 4) Take shower 5) Have a drink , and maybe watch a movie...fixing the A/C in the heat really took a toll on me.

^Ah, thank you Lizzie! Not too bad in here right now, have a window A/C in the bedroom and it's going FULL blast, lol....the portable is in the living room/kitchen area, hoping I can get it fixed by noon at least, 106 for a high today . I'll be safe even if I have to go to the bedroom!!! xx

I donate to the ASPCA every month, too, for the animals. Have been looking into helping all of wildlife like lions and tigers, I'm in a few causes and have donated to them to help save them.

I drink bottled water or water that we haul from the springs, our tap water is well water and isn't drinkable, has something in it that makes the coffee have a 'grease' like film on it, doesn't smell or turn anything but I can use it to wash clothes, dishes and take showers. I have found lately that I really love flavored water sure is good in a tall glass with ice in this hot weather.

TIL that my portable air conditioner has got sludge in the drain tray which causes the top part of the coils to freeze up like ice cubes. Tomorrow morning will have to take it outside, take it apart and wash it out with bleach and a water hose and then let it dry... the high is gonna be 106! :095: Not a very happy camper at the moment!

I know..... this is a shame!!! I heard about it yesterday on HLN and was really shocked, Jerry is a permanent feature of the telethon, how dare them make him retire!!!

I would sooo wish it would thunderstorm here.....right now, it's 97 with a heat index of 103 and it's just noon, only thing saving us is there is a slight breeze...high for today is 106 plus humidity
