This was posted on my Wall in FB yesterday, it made my day and wanted to share: I recently visited a mental asylum and I asked the director, "how can you know when a person needs to be institutionalized?" He said, "Well, we fill a bathtub with water and we offer them a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket and ask them to empty the tub." I said, "I see...a normal person would choose the bucket because it is bigger." He responded, "No. A normal person would pull the plug...would you like a bed by the window?

I live in the country now but was born and raised in the city, but do love to go to the city once in awhile, just don't think I could live there anymore...it's nice and peaceful in the country

Yes Beth, I know they are they have unconditional love for us! . That is sweet about Smokey wanting to be near Moe. Your story reminds me of a time when our Marcell passed away. He died here in the house with a heart attack and Bobbi was in here and when he passed she laid right there and wouldn't move. The moment he passed she looked up as tho she was seeing him go over to say good-bye to him. She stayed there for a whole day, wouldn't get up to even eat, I had to take her her food .

I like 'em if they are at night but worry about what is going on up there like how bad the winds are. Here we have alot of trees on our property and have had alot of them fall over cuz of high winds, which scares me falling on the house or on my animals. Most of the time power will go out and I don't like that, but if the lighting is far away esp. at night, it's cool to watch.

I saw this too, Beth! So very touching and some people say pets aren't family?!! ....Bull!!

Well, he'd have to be good lookin' at 76!! lol.. Now, if I was 30 and he was 50, still would have to be good lookin' but yes I would...age doesn't make a difference to me, it's just a number.

I collect what-nots, stuffed animals and anything dealing with music. I also got several books on Trash Treasures Crafts and have made a few things for Christmas decorations that were made from trash, but haven't done that in a few years now. Jigsaw puzzles I like alot too, but seems like that's not enough time to do those anymore and they take up alot of space for this little house.
