I wanted to share this secret family recipe with all my Farmer friends along with my best wishes for a fabulous holiday! THANKSGIVING TEQUILA CAKE 1 cup water 1 tsp. baking soda 1 cup sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 cup brown sugar Lemon juice 4 large eggs 1 cup chopped nuts 1 bottle of tequila (Jose Cuervo, you are a friend o' mine) 2 cups dried fruit Sample the tequila to check quality. Take a large bowl, check the tequila again. To be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point its best to make sure the tequila is still OK. Try another cup...just in case. Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and then chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Or was it two cups? Pick the frigging fruit up off the floor. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers, just pry it loosh with a drewscriver. Sample the tequila to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt. Or something. Check the tequila again. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find. Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over. Greash the oven... Don't forget to beat off the turners. Finally, baked for 45 somethins an throw the bowl through the window. Finish off the tequila and wipe off the counter with the cat.

I'm gonna answer No because I haven't smoked any since Jan. 1st of this year. I tried to quit alot before without much success. Last time I did quit was back in 1998 for 2 years then we lost our baby Bobbie of 12 years in 2000 and I started right back up. I believe I even smoked more and more after that. I knew deep down if I kept on smoking like I was doing, with the illness I have now, in 2 years time I would have been on oxygen, so I've quit for good now.

(((Patty & Carol))) hope you both feel better soon! I usually try to do home remedies before going to the dr but when those don't help or bring some kind of relief, I'll eventually go. With the winter coming on I have to really be careful if I get a cold or anything doing with sinus cuz of my illness.

Do the chores inside the house this morning...this afternoon get ready to go to grocery store and then the supply store to pick up the sides to finish up on the babies houses, then stopping by a friends' house to see his new 3 to 4 month old baby goat, taking camera with me to take some pics .

BBQ rib sandwiches today. Made the ribs last night and had with a salad as a side dish, it was all good.

I love that it finally quit raining, front yard is flooded and the babies didn't get all their breakfast ate, but will go out there now and finish the morning feedings.

Me too, Susan! Even taking Speech classes didn't help either...teacher used to say "think of everyone Naked", but then I start laughing, lol! I work good under pressure except for the public speaking.
