  13. 102.9 WMGK DEBUTS RINGO STARR'S BEATLES ART SHOW AND SALE AT GRANITE RUN MALL IN MEDIA, PA The largest collection of signed Beatles artwork ever assembled can be seen and purchased Friday November 23 - Monday December 24. Admission is FREE You knew they were musicians, but did you know the Beatles were artists too? Classic Rock 102.9 WMGKwill debut Ringo Starr's full collection of hand signed fine art pieces for the first time in the Delaware Valley. Ringo Starr's Beatles Art Show will feature a collection of hand signed drawings, computer art and paintings from Ringo Starr, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison respectively. This open-to-the- public exhibit will be the largest collection of signed Beatles artwork ever assembled. Art goers will have the chance to purchase signed art pieces from all four of the Beatlesand see the band reunited through their art. Admission to the show is free. Speaking about his art work Ringo said, "I started in the late nineties with my computer art. While I was touring it gave me something to do in all those crazy hotels you have to stay in on the road." Adding, with his trademark wit, "most of the titles for my pieces arrived because on computer you have to call them something, so I have. The easy way to look at it is, if it has a hat on - it will probably be called Hat Man." Two new, very limited edition works by Ringo Starr, entitled "Face & Flowers" and "Snail's Eye", will make their world debut at this show. In addition to the fine art work, there will be never before seen videos from Ringo talking about his art as well as live music. To get a preview of Ringo's art, check out RingoStarrArt.com. Go to WMGK.com for full details on the show starting Friday November 16, 2007. This exclusive four-week show is open to the public starting on Black Friday, November 23 at 5:00am and runs through Monday, December 24 at the Granite Run Mall, 1067 W. Baltimore Pike, Media PA. The show will be located on the second floor near Boscov's and is open mall hours during the holiday season.
