Thanks, everybody for reading this. Hey, Patty, there were a bunch of women up front.....John kept smiling them and motioning to them. They all had Moody Blue tee shirts on. Maybe they were the "Mamas", ha!
Moody Brews, I love that, Linda, haha....
Ames, I never saw the Red Rock DVD, I will look for that one, thank you. I do have the show recorded live at the Royal Albert Hall. That is a really good one!!
The music was really good but I have to say, too, the light show was so cool!! Not alot of lights but it was how they did it. The beams of blue at the beginning (really beautiful).....star-like effects....just really cool!!

Long Long Time
written by Gary B. White
Universal MCA Music (ASCAP)
Love will abide, take things in stride
Sounds like good advice but there's no one at my side
And time washes clean love's wounds unseen
That's what someone told me but I don't know what it means.
Cause I've done everything I know to try and make you mine
And I think I'm gonna love you for a long long time
Caught in my fears
Blinking back the tears
I can't say you hurt me when you never let me near
And I never drew one response from you
All the while you fell all over girls you never knew
Cause I've done everything I know to try and make you mine
And I think it's gonna hurt me for a long long time
Wait for the day
You'll go away
Knowing that you warned me of the price I'd have to pay
And life's full of flaws
Who knows the cause?
Living in the memory of a love that never was
Cause I've done everything I know to try and change your mind
and I think I'm gonna miss you for a long long time
Cause I've done everything I know to try and make you mine
And I think I'm gonna love you for a long long time.

I did not bring a camera...they were not allowing any pictures to be taken anyway. But here is a photo from the program.

I wanted to share this show I went to last Saturday night. I went to see The Moody Blues at the Ritacco Center in Toms River. I will be honest and say I was never really into the MBs but I did like some of the songs I had heard on the radio so I wanted to go.
So close.....got there in only 15 minutes. The parking area was backed up. I had been to this venue before to see the Beatles tribute band Rain..but it was not as crowded. Parked and went inside...lots of different age groups here. Bought a really cool 40th Anniversary poster and the program.
On inside. This is a high school gym and it was filled. I had pretty good seats....13th row but could see the whole stage so well. We sat next to a man and his daughter. He said he has seen this band 8 times so far this year. We are in store for a great show, he said. Okay, I am ready!!
The lights go dim and beautiful blue beams of light shine...there they are!! I knew Justin Hayward and John Lodge....they also had their drummer, Graeme Edge. Two drummers, in fact....a younger one, too, named Gordon Marshall. Justin and John looked like they were having so much fun! After every song people stood up.......yep, even me!! I loved this music!! The songs I knew were Tuesday Afternoon, I'm Just A Singer In A Rock and Roll Band, Your Wildest Dreams...Nights In White Satin. There was a woman playing the flute and acoustic guitar..she was really good...Norda Mullen was her name. Paul Bliss played keyboards and Julie Ragins sang back-up and keyboards. Can you tell I have the program, ha! This comes in handy when you want to know who was playing. Great pictures, too.....
At the end of the show, everyone was on their feet!! I noticed after we were leaving some people going to the tour buses parked at the back. I should have went down, too. I am so glad I went to see this band and experience this new music to me. I found some old albums at the flea market this week....50 cents each! I am loving the learning and enjoying of different kinds of music now....there is so much out there and so little time, ha!!
