Wow! That is so exciting! That was one lucky crowd! I was listening to Lucinda's live show at The Mountain Winery on 6/8/07 just yesterday . Man, I sure wish I'd gone. It was really an incredible show. I can't even imagine what this one in L.A. must have been like. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope they make it available. I know those type of releases are so limited. L.A. is usually the closest one for us too. I don't think I'd be driving 400 miles for it. And Linda is right, that showing is going to be a zoo. What with all the celebrities and stuff. :eek:

I agree Toni, I think that was a bit over the top. The media kills me with their version of "Plus size"! I couldn't believe it when they started in on Kelly Clarkson...They're just evil!

Ames, excellent article. Yes, it was a long read but well worth it. I have experienced this first hand. Years ago we took a cruise out of Los Angeles. When we got a few miles out all of a sudden there's garbage everywhere. I remember seeing alot of plastic milk cartons and babys disposable diapers. Very strange and disturbing. I'm glad to see that someone has taken this problem up as their crusade. Hopefully some of the powers that be will take the issue seriously before it causes total devastation. You know there are actually people who don't think these environmental issues are all that serious. I'll bet these are the same kind of folks that said nothing could be done about pollution some forty years ago. Now look at what's happened. Alot of major cities cleaned up their acts and turned it around. Even some major rivers, like the Willamette River up in Oregon was rescued. With alot of hard work and committment, it can be done. Me neither Christine. It's so awful to watch people you love go through it. You feel so helpless and there's really nothing you can do except be there for them.
