  1. Well I knew about Billy and George being tight. They played together a lot. but I couldn't figure out what Ford was doing there, lol.
  2. Salt-n-Pepa — A Salt With a Deadly Pepa The Butthole Surfers - Hairway to Steven...Too funny! :icon_laugh: I was just mentioning Emerson, Lake and Palmer's album Brain Salad Surgery last night. That's a weird title for sure.
  3. I mentioned this idea on another thread. Why not air this on PBS stations like they did Martin Scorsese's documentary of Bob Dylan? That would be the perfect place for it. That way it could easily be shown in 2 parts (like Bobs) and since most people have a PBS station, and not Sundance it would reach a wider audience.
  4. Andrea, that's too bad. He's acting like a jerk. Today I learned that sometimes foolish people ARE amusing, lol.

  9. "I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it." - Terry Pratchett
  10. That's cool. I'd much rather watch it in the comfort of my own home anyway. Emmie, I'm sure it will be out on DVD real soon. I actually would like to have seen it air on PBS stations like Bob Dylan's documentary. It was in two parts. I wonder if they've considered doing that?
  11. Oooo, Beth that is aboslutely gorgeous! President Ford with Billy Preston and George Harrison. Now there's a picture you don't see everyday, lol. And Billy's hair, LMAO!
  12. LOL! I know. But at least we wouldn't have to look at him walking around in those silly ass golf shirts all the time.
  13. LMAOO! Teresa, that's pretty bad. I remember some of those fights. I believe I was involved in a few.
  14. Andrew, I'm glad you mentioned about Robert speaking of a possible tour. I was thinking of this the other night. But you know damn well when that tour gets here to the states, the tickets are going to be a lot more than $250 dollars. We'll be wishing that's all we had to pay.
  15. I think this photo would make a beautiful poster. Anyone agree? :045:
  16. Nope, I'm just not interested in a lot of these award shows anymore. I'm with Christine, I had better things to watch.
  17. There's a special place in my heart for each and every member of the band. It's like a puzzle to me, you take one piece away and it's just not right. As for Tom Petty's so-called solo albums, I have to admit they are some of my favorites, (except for Highway Companion) but if you really check it out, the main heartbreakers are almost always involved in even those solo projects. And always at his side is his right hand man Mike Campbell.
  18. ^ Toni, welcome back! Glad you had such a good time. I'm a little tired, but overall I feel pretty good. I'm neither sad nor happy, I'm just in the middle of the road. Not a bad place to be.
  19. ^ Wow! That's a lot of music, lol.
  20. Thanks, Imagine! I'd never quite heard the full story of Derek and The Dominos. Very interesting. By the way, welcome to the farm!
  21. ^ Paul, I'm surprised that didn't turn up on Youtube. Thanks Ryan! That was one amazing performance! It's one of my favorites. I love watching Dhani looking at Prince in awe. It's so cool.
  22. OMG! That is such a gorgeous picture of Mike.
