  1. I also would like to remind you about the video I made back in 2016. It would be nice if the one for "Runnin' Down a Dream" would be BIGGER than this...
  2. Next month marks 30 years since "Full Moon Fever" was released. I would like to invite everyone to my project which is a fanmade video for "Runnin' Down a Dream". All you have to do is to record yourself singing/lip-syncing/playing/dancing to this song and submit it to me. You can record yourself alone, in pair, in group, indoor, outdoor, dressed up or not, playing an instrument (veeery looking forward it), it's up to you. Also the official audio will be added like in a real music video, so you don't have to sing with your own voice . .. . It doesn't have to be a full song either, a short clip would be enough. Deadline is the end of March. You can join the group below for updates and more information, you can also send me a private message if you have any questions. I'm counting on you. https://www.facebook.com/groups/790937677926037
  3. I came from Into The Great Wide Open and this is my second favourite after the debut. Also I love that era.
  4. Congratulations to Benmont and Alice. Welcome to the world, Catherine Gabriella Winter Tench, born on 16 Dec 2017.
  5. I don't think it was 1980, looks more like 1978.
  6. Happy birthday, Susan! :)

  7. Definitely of Tom's best photoshoots (at least my favorite ).
  8. I highly recommend Adele or PostModern Jukebox covers. They add retro vibes to various songs and results are awesome.
  9. None. Until the end I believed in European tour.
  10. I'd like to make a statement too. I met TPATH accidentally on Vh1 on spring 2011. I was almost 15 then and it was "Into The Great Wide Open". I didn't like the song at first but I liked the video. Later I found it on YouTube, watching million times and fell in love completely. At age 61 Tom became my new teen idol. I started discovering his music, watching videos, looking for photos. I improved my English skills by reading foreign articles with dictionary. He inspired me to making videos and writting blog, my two passions. Unfortunately he was not popular in Poland. In my lifetime I met only two or three people who said "Yes, I know the guy named Tom Petty". It's hard to buy his records in music stores but somehow I got my CDs and even bought a vinyl this January. Also in July I heard his song on polish radio, for the first time ever! If the internet didn't exist, I would probably never explore his music and I wouldn't meet other fans. I was upset when only one European date was announced, I believed there will be more. But I'm happy that he outlived 40th anniversary (TPATH debut is probably my fav from him), finished touring and passed away surrounded by his friends and relatives. I wish I could knew him more than only 6 years. It was a beautiful journey.
