  1. Thank you for the birthday wishes! They really did make my day!
  2. Wow! I can count on two fingers how many times I've seen Mike play an acoustic guitar.....and that was one of them. Beautiful song!
  3. With the exception of the couple in the front row, I think everyone in the photo are Farmers. Very cool!
  4. ^I get so focused on the Knobs and Ape sometimes that I forget about Tom. Consider me reminded. Hubba Hubba!
  5. Wow! Transcendent. That just about sums up the evening. Can't believe they played Anna Lee. It was beautiful! I think everyone there got to hear their favorites. I know I did! They also proved once again what a gracious group of guys they are.....just getting to see them play is worth the time and expense of flying out from Atlanta....but I  my new keychain! Appreciated Mike & Marcie stopping by to say hello on their way out too. Also loved hanging out with all of the Farmers! Shianne, Kianna, and Steph reminded me of how much FUN it was to be in my 20's while Marion and Amber understand that we're not in our 20's anymore and sleep and comfortable shoes are important. :003: Great to see Steve and Dawn again and to spend a little more time with Barb, Lotta, and Ames and Kay. Love you all!
  6. My review: I absolutely agree with all of the above.....fantastic show, very intimate, the guys all seemed to be having fun....but I also have to add that there was something really special about that rendition of Nitty Gritty! I can't get it out of my head. Yowza!
  7. Fantastic photos, Marcia! I wish we had gotten a chance to talk more.
  8. Sharon, sure wish you were coming but I'm happy for you! Is your DK ticket still available?
  9. Happy Belated Birthday, Nurk! Sorry to be late to the party. Hopefully sometime soon I'll be able to see you in person and buy you a drink.
  10. I'll be at both shows! Coming straight from work on Friday night.....
  11. My husband and I just watched the new True Grit and both agreed that the John Wayne/Glen Campbell version was better. It makes me sad to hear about his illness. It truly is a cruel disease.
  12. Happy Birthday, Lizzie!! See you in a couple of weeks?
  13. Oh, I'm late for the party..... Marion, you are sincerely one of the nicest people I've ever met and I appreciate all that you do! If there's anything I can do for you, don't hesitate to let me know!
  14. From Bloomington, IN to Terre Haute, IN in a Cessna. I was 19, in college, and dating a pilot who had no idea I had never flown before. I played it cool like I had guys picking me up for dates in airplanes ALL the time.
