glad to read the happy times at the concert! CSN was really great when I heard them too. I was amazed at Crosby's vocal strength! It's so great to be in a place with so much love and awesome music!! You wish it would never end!

wow guys, thanks so much for your opinions. I would say he is both very committed to band and loves TP just as much. There lies our problem. I bought the tickets last Feb. before the concert was rescheduled to Sept. It was originally supposed to last May. I appreciate all your input and will let you know what pans out.

Hmmm....A Day in the Life is so epic and powerful, that is for dang sure. As with any countdown, it is debatable. The Beatles catalog is so diverse, and went through so many phases, it's all different for so many good ways. She Came in Through The Bathroom Window is hard to compare to Love Me Do.

yeah Muddy, you know band directors alright! And keep in mind, this is Tx. football, Friday Night Lights, almost a religion here! I thank you for all your input, and I of course am leaning to "Heck ya, you are going to see TP!!!!" My husband will have to take some convincing from me. He plays tenor sax, not alot of them in the show. Let's hope for a good outcome here! Wish me luck! Maybe Tom Petty could call the band director for us!

Hey guys, I value your input on a predicament we are having. My son shares his mom's love for TPATH. He has been looking forward to seeing them since I bought tickets last Feb. Well, he is in the marching band and we found out that the Homecoming game is the same night as the concert in Houston. Should he ask his band director if he can miss the marching band show for this concert? :confused:

I don't think I know enough of the real story behind it all to feel strongly about it. It seems each side has a very biased view. I am more of a gray person. Can we all work together and respect one another?

Scary! I saw news story on that. The guys from Mythbusters put a picture up of his jeep for sale. In the background was his house number. Some person tracked him. I need to disable that on FB.
