I heard Love Minus Zero many years ago, probably sometime in the late sixties or early seventies, sung by Scott Engel. I am pretty sure it is a Bob Dylan song originally.

I see your point, Lotta. But for me Joe Walsh is the guitar hero for me in that band. I don't miss Don at all.We have our own Heroes, Ref. I would miss Joe, but Don was the one for me

I had a very small fast wedding in the city hall. When my dad got the camera out it was already over. ( 60 sec, max). We had a small reception with some friends and neighbours.

I was a devoted Eagles lover until they fired Don Felder. After that the music changed. He was their backbone, musically and the guitar master. His licks and solos were one of a kind.
I went to Stockholm in 96 to see HFO, a moment in time. I was on cloud #9!! Everything was perfect. When I heard they were coming back in 2001 I again was totally excited and got tickets....
The started with Hotel California - on horns... No Felder.... and I was totally disappointed.
I heard their hit song from their latest CD - a song from -73 written by JD Souther.......
Well.. I'm with you Benny. I won't pay to see them again. They have a new audience and an older, but I am pretty sure they are as popular today because of this new younger generation who doesn't have the genuine link back to the old days and music. To me, without Don Felder in the band I don't care about them anymore. Only their old songs does it for me. (and WHERE would they be if Hotel California hadn't been such a hit?)
The 'Hole in the world' song sounded like Backstreet Boys. That sucks.

So I went up in the mountains today like I planned all week. The road up there is small and winding, but oh so beautiful. Once one pass the Jackson gates it's only a short way to the climb. I had 17 miles from home to reach the hillside where I was met by the most astonishing view.
I will let the photos speak for themselves....
Just let me add. I felt very small up there, almost spiritual. Talking about Mother Nature's Wonders.
