In LA, take them to the Grove. Go the PCH north and see Big Sur, maybe you would like Hearst Castle? You can reach it from the 1 or 101. Wine country - Napa or my little backyard, Santa Ynez Valley is worth seeing and Solvang, the Danish town.. Santa Barbara is a beautiful town. Long Beach has a nice Zoo I am told but I haven't been there yet. Yosemite and Muir with their huge trees is a must if you further up north.. well that's what I can remember right now:) Have fun:)

I can't BELEIVE I missed this thread. Going straight for my wallet and credit card. If anything I care for animals and especially rescues. Dang, the little four legged friend I have is an adoption and he is the sweetest.. and his name is Sundae.

Mine are perscription too but pretty cheap so I think I gave less than 50 dollars for them years back..

(i.e., Do you wear flannel pajamas and bury yourself under mountains of blankets, or do you throw your windows wide open in the middle of winter and complain about the heat?) In between. Like flannel sheets but not too much to wear, and the room must be cold.

I drove San Marco's Pass right before it got closed last night. It is Dante's Inferno up there. One house was being evacuated while I drove by and the flames were up in the hills pretty close to where I drove. It was stupid. I should have gone 101. The stgarnest thing is once you pass that part everything looks the same....until you look back... It is surreal.

I have never taken any anti depressants.

What a cute video. Your Kitty is something, all right. So curious and so careful and FAST!! I stepped right over a 4 foot Goofer snake last fall, and then I went straight for the broom. We had an almost equal fight. He didn't want to give and rolled to a ball and wiggles his tail just like this snake on the video. "You think you are a rattler"? HA! So he took off and I celebrated the win.... until I saw the little thing wiggle right back in to the greenhouse. LOL I never saw him again, "Never more that house"! must have been his thought. I hope poor Thomas will feel better soon , big hug to both Tom and Kitty :)

Gift cards have never found their place in my life. I spend too much time to find the right gift - so next time I may give a card instead.
