  3. My two cents worth.

Since the non smoking generation drive started in the 1980's (at least in Sweden) smokers were treated like paria. That's not fair. It is hard to beat an adicction. Been there. I smoked like a chimney for 16 years but quit 27 years ago. I never looked back.

I quit for many reasons, for myself and my health, and I was a mother to be. I was afraid to get cancer. My throat hurt when I was breathing and I felt like shit.

    I have never smoked again.

I have also never complained when people smoke. It is their decision. If they want to smell like that and jeopardize their health I accept it. But i HAVE complained if they can't show respect and decency to smoke where they not affect others.

    We all have rights.

One person dies every 1,4 minute in the US due to cigarette smoking. They didn't say the number of deaths of second hand smokers, but there is one (numner), and that alone ought to speak for itself.

On the opposite side, I think it is to go too far to prohibit outdoor smoking. That's another story though.

Every person saved from starting to smoke is a positive thing.

  4. I may be a tad bit too liberal, cause I usually don't find too many things offensive. However, when I do I go all the way.

Not to start anything - I find it offensive when people get mad at me for airing my opinion, even if my opinion is not judgemental, just my opinion, but it has been taken that way because the person getting mad at me feels a sense of guilt - and knows I have a point but still refuses to accept that.

    Now - breathe! :P

  5. Nancy, thanks for the reminder. Sometimes I get so into the music I forget the titles, I just hum away. And I hummed away quite a bit, to a point I forgot to pake photos.......but that doesn't matter :)

I do remember he played Rain and Only Son too....

The band is so great. I wish you all could come for a listen one of these gigs. I am so blessed to live this close by. I love my gigs and my travels.

Just wish I didn't have to work to make it happen... but that goes for all of us doesn't it?

It's just strange no one asks for bananas. Maybe next time we will pay with 'em?
