I couldn't answer the question. I am still unsure about the death penalty. I know I would easily be able to kill someone who caused pain and death to my family, friends, or pretty much even total strangers. However, I would have to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they did it. I do know our justice system does not always convict the right people. I also know that guilty ones go free sometimes too. I do not know what the deterent is, but I do know there is more evil in the world today than there has ever been. Those people that kill without remorse, for their own pleasure are demons as far as I am concerned and need to be removed. However, there are some circumstances when people get caught up in matters that may be technically considered murder, but may have been self-defense. I also think that men like that freak that kidnapped Elizabeth Smart should be removed from earth too. You cannot rehabilitate these folks. Nor do I want to pay the cost to keep them alive forever either. It is a tough question and each case should be analyzed carefully. I am sure if someone hurt someone close to me, I would mentally want them to suffer. However in actuality, I do not know that I could be the person to bring it about.

Yes. I auditioned for chorus in college and an "Operetta" in middle school. Got both. Was an Italian girl in an orphanage. Was in a lot of plays in school. I used to love it. I played an old lady in a play in college. Have had to speak in front of people a lot in my job. I don't like speaking much. I would much rather play a part - acting is easier than being yourself. ^Pawie, we could do a duet, lol!

Would put the majority up for the future, spend a little now, and give maybe 20% to charity. Would maybe start my own charity or give to one I could become involved with since I wouldn't have to work anymore.

^^Love it Sharon! Georgia didn't have anything to choose from for governor either. Two crooks essentially. One of them was governor before and got voted out because he used the office to pave roads etc for his company and property. Some times you just can't choose between two evils, so I usually skip those. I do cast my vote in the ones that I think matter.

You guys need a husband like mine. He figures if you haven't used it in a year, you do not need it. We do clean stuff out often. It does accumulate in a hurry! I guess I need to let go of resentment against a certain person I used to work with who was my friend to my face and stabbed me in the back later(not a farmer or petty fan). I have finally managed to somewhat forgive, but can't let it go all the way. I do not have any serious vices left....had to give all the fun stuff! No really....quit smoking years ago. Drink wine/mixed drink one in a while. Other than some fried food occasionally....I'm pretty good most of the time.

Not angry at all. I consider it a priviledge to get to vote. I did swear I wasnt going to vote for anyone who called my house more than once though. I am sick of the process. The mudslinging and wasted money makes me sick.

I am a college professor and I voted street smart. I know several educated idiots. They have a very difficult life. I would rather be able to figure out people and situations than recite Dickens. I have been blessed to have both. ^^And yes sugar, book smart can get you the job, but without common sense you just iritate the people you have to work with.

Gender studies is not something I would want to have sit and listen to for a whole semester, lol!!! Took philosophy....had a great time! We sat around talking about "If God is omnipotent, then can he create a rock so heavy he can't lift it?" Sort of made my head hurt. The best part was studying political philosophy..reading about communism, socialism etc...very interesting and useful.

I love wine!!! I have a difficult time finding GOOD wine though. I do not like wine that is too dry. Anyone have some suggestions? Send me your favorite wine and why....I plan to try Kelly's suggestion.
