  1. Hey Molly: Yes, I've been hanging here at the farm for a year now.....

  2. Really cool! I would have loved to have seen them playing parts though. Steve and Scott could be the cops......did love Mike's solo performance!
  3. Cold in S GA! Only got up in the high 30s today.
  4. ((Refugee))..It's harder on the holidays, I know. Lost mine when I was 22 yrs old. Seems so long ago now...
  5. Wow, there are lots of things......I guess give birth. I was never blessed with the right circumstances for a child of my own. By the time I had a stable marriage and could have had one, I was already 40 years old. Didn't want to do the turkey-baster thing. I had a friend who when I was in my 30s told me - you don't have to be married to have a child. I said....well I do. I could not bring a child into the world knowing he would not have both parents and that both parents wanted him. I did inherit a step-son when he was 14 and a niece when she was 14....so I certainly got the experience of raising teenagers. That is where my wrinkles came from.
  6. Would give part to charity and likely put the rest in the bank.
  7. I am so glad you took him in. It does seem that your life was richer for it, as I know his was. I am so sorry for your loss!
  8. None really. Respect Betty White the most out of the choices.
  9. 1. Do you have any special plans for Christmas? No 2. Will you be traveling? No 3. What is the worst thing about this time of year? traffic 4. Do you have any favorite holiday traditions? Not anymore...most of my family is either dead or far away. 5. Do you have your Christmas tree up yet? If not, will you have a tree up this year? Yes it is up...such as it is.
  10. It pisses me off too. They need to take the ability away since most people nowadays have no consideration for others. When someone does it to me, I make sure kick the seat regularly with my knees everytime I shift in the seat (which I do more often when the idiot reclines in my lap). See if you can nap now....
  11. Hey Nurk....I'm totally with you on that dude! Life is short and it is what you make of it. I have greatly exceeded what was expected of me.....overcome a lot of statistics to have a relatively successful life. It's all about taking risks and never giving up! The last time I met with friends was last month. I meet once a month with a couple of lab managers (one is retired). We used to work together as lab scientists many years ago and have met monthly for several years now to stay in touch. We went down different paths in the last few years..one is still a lab manager, I am a professor (teaching lab) and one is retired. We have always enjoyed each others company.
  12. Sorry you had to see your family at a funeral, Nurk! Your Aunt sounds like she may have been related to a couple of mine, lol! I come from a long line of eccentric females. Maybe you can go visit your uncles and cousins next tour.
  13. I know! What did happened to the foot measurer thingy? I used to work in a shoe store and we had to measure feet. Of course, some parents didn't listen to you and bought whatever they decided the kid needed. Usually way too big...saying they will grow into them. I agree with Nurk, it is a plot to make us all crippled. Motto I learned many years ago...never scrimp money on shoes or your mattress. You gotta take care of your feet and your back. BYW: I love to be barefoot! Only put on shoes when I have to go somewhere.
  14. I sure wish folks would have respect for poor lady and give their personal agendas a rest! What happened to respect for the dead?
  15. I don't think you blame the addiction on the drug anymore than you can blame killing on the gun. It depends on who is using it and where their head is at when they do. I have seen more families destroyed from alcohol addiction and perscription drugs than recreational drugs like pot. If pot were legalized and the "illegal" circumstances were changed, it could come out of the underground, seedy, more "hard" part of society and there would be less exposure to the harder stuff. Since it is lumped in with meth, crack and all those very destructive drugs, the buyers become exposed to these other drugs because the dealers would rather sell them to you, fully knowing you will become addicted and keep business brisk. So the criminalization of pot is more the gateway than the actual drug, IMO.
  16. I teach online classes, so I use it a lot for work.
  17. Now we have to have a Mudcrutch family reunion so we can all wear our shirts and look like a gaggle of Petty-Nerds (what my family calls me), LOL!
  18. Happy Birthday JJ!!!! You are sooooooo bad!
  19. Got mine ordered! Really cool. Thanks Ryan. (PS...thanks for the Hard promises Tour Book too).
  20. 1. Please list the social networking sites you have either tried and/or still use: My space, Twitter, Facebook 2. Of the social networking sites you listed in question #1, which one is your favorite? Facebook 3. In your opinion, what’s the biggest drawback to these sites? Spend too much time on it. Trivial information sometimes. 4. Other than it being the “popular and 'in' thing to do,” what is your main reason for joining such a site? Catch up with old friends. Talk with people with similar interests. 5. Take this quiz: Are You Facebook, MySpace or Twitter? You Are Facebook You are social, outgoing, and excited to connect to your friends. You are interested in your friends' lives, and you enjoy adding your opinion to the mix. While you enjoy sharing online, you don't want everyone to know your business. You value your privacy. Your life is an open book to those you know but not to strangers. 6. Do you have more people you consider your friends in real life, or on your favorite social networking site? Probably on social sites.
  21. Christmas cards Filing and organizing stuff in my office Typing test banks
  22. Never. Don't see a knife as much protection. Have to get too close to use it.
  23. I used to have a lot of problems with believing in prayer. However, after living this long, I have seen so many things I can't scientifically explain (healthcare worker for many years), that I do believe in prayer and that healing is not all based on science. As sugar says, it is a source of strength for me too.
  24. Probably lust....after all, girls, we do have lust in our hearts for the TPATH guys...admit it! Gluttony at times......sloth once in awhile.
