The teacher from GA is suing the school system (and she should). I bet the "anonymous" emailer is a parent she pissed off because she wouldn't let her child have what she wanted. What is it going to take to get school boards and administrators with back-bone to put a stop to the lunacy.

I know when the sound isn't right and when it is. I can tell good music when I hear it....can sing on tune (as long as I am between another alto and the piano)...or listening to the radio.....so I feel I am gifted compared to those folks on American Idol who actually think they can sing........

Absolutely! Unless I am doing a sub-optimal job, leave me alone! What about the teacher in GA who was fired because of a picture she posted on facebook that had a drink in her hand...an anonymous person emailed an administrator....the site was not open to students.....where does it stop? What I do after hours, and the control of my health is my f****** business! I wish people would start trying to run their own lives and leave mine alone! When will it stop???

This has been going on for sometime now. In GA if you work for the state (teacher's too) you have to report if you smoke or not and pay a stiff penalty for their health insurance. If you lie and take the less expensive route and develop any "smoking related" illness, which could be an upper respiratory infection, if a doctor writes on a chart "smoker", you can lose yourt health insurance. I don't smoke anymore...but it seems a little crazy to me. What is next? being overweight? I am sure that is being discussed.

5. Whose the last person to make you laugh till your sides hurt? My husband - he is really shy (except around those he knows well). He came home from work the other day and walked into my office and kissed me. He didn't realize I was on camera participating in an interview for an academic technology hire through Skype and that everyone could see him (about 6 people). My boss yelled "whoo-hoo" and I thought he would faint. It was funny as hell!

According to Ref's def...yes I'm gifted. My piano teacher even told me I was a gifted music appreciator -- just not a music do-er, lol! He also added that it was not a bad thing.....where would the do-ers be without the appreciators?

We were married 10 years and still parted as friends. We just had different goals in life - I needed more security and he needed to play. He was a great guy. No real regrets or issues there. I tried to get custody of HIS parents in the divorce, lol! It's just really sad...way too young to die....thanks for the comfort!

My ex-husband passed away today from pancreatic cancer. Isn't it odd how you still have feelings even though it's been 16 years since the divorce and we have both been remarried for 13 or so?

Back when our son was at home....it would have been a pool table. And no, it would have had to go! My husband is so sweet and well trained, I can't see him replacing it with anything........
