  1. I always wanted to be a back-uo singer. Too shy to sing lead. I think I would make a great Pip...woowoo! (pulling my train whistle)
  2. Must have been Lynyrd Skynyrd in Jacksonville, Fl. Don't remember the year.
  3. Wow, another great one gone! He and his brothers had such smooth, perfect voices....very rare indeed.
  4. I have liked his music for many years. What a great experience!
  5. Sure! need some time to save a little money since I just traveled to LA last month...., but I am always ready for a DK show and/or a gathering of farmers!
  6. Well, I am a Nerd....so unfortunately...I get it! Hell, I went to school with these people....physics, chemistry....and star trek movies, star wars.....our idea of foreplay, LOL!
  7. Oh Sweet Barb!!!! Happy Birthday my friend!:113:
  8. ^ What? You didn't like the meat suit and the egg thing? Haha! I too can't stand the so called reality shows. Seems most of them make southerners, and in particular ones who live near the swamp, look like inbred idiots! Who would have ever imagined they would make a TV show out of people leaving crap in storage sheds???? Just shows how imagination and art has declined in the last 10 years. It is a shame when the best thing on TV is a bunch of nerds on "Big Bang" simply because you actually have characters that are somewhat believable with real dialogue.
  9. Each one is different, depending on many factors. I cannot pick just one.
  10. Yes, I would! Used to love those jukeboxes.
  11. It would be great! I couldn't afford it either, but I am sure there are some who could out there.
  12. Agree with all the above. Leisure suits (dating myself now)...rap music, parachute pants, "Members only" jackets..oh so many! Just proves you shouldn't be too trendy. You will be embarrassed later if you are.

    Fall Has Arrived

Wow, they finally found a way to ruin Oreos! Some things need to be left just as they are.....I am ready for some cooler weather.
  14. Thanks Nurk! Have a great Friday!
  15. 1. What color is your car? In case you don't have a car; what color is your front door? metallic light green 2. Do you have a bike? exercise bike 3. Have you ever been out sailing? No, I like a motor on my boat...may need to head to shore in a hurry.... 4. When was the last time you smiled? this morning 5. Do you like offal? Like others, I didn't know for sure what you were asking. I always thought the word meant scraps or cast offs. After reading the definition, I guess I was right...sort of like eating the stuff most people throw away. None for me!
  16. Kroger, RiteAid, CVS, and Skymiles too. I will do whatever for discounts. Gonna have to check out the Walgreens thing. I have bought prescriptions at Kroger for years, but tried to use a discount coupon that is supposed to work with insurance today to cut the cost of a prescription that is out of this world ridiculous...and was denied. Plan to call around tomorrow and see if someone else would take the coupon and insurance....
  17. I agree Marion! Seems Paris and the Kardashians are really crafty. Here we are working jobs for 30 -40 years for a small pension and they make millions in a few years publicizing what???? being a slut basically! Who is the genius here?
  18. Rarely...only in the car...and classic rock if I do.
  19. Nope! I do not want to add anything permanent to my body. I may change my mind later.....
  20. I know Tom must be really proud of her! It seems that he is a great Dad. Teaching kids value and work ethic is very hard nowadays. Kuddos to Tom and Adria!
  21. ^Good one Liz!!! If he starts wearing pants with elastic in the waist......we will have to talk to him!
  22. I used to when I lived in a residential area and had trick or treaters. Now I live in a rural area and no one comes by....so I do not bother anymore.
  23. Haven't seen any advertisements for new shows that I recall. We don't watch much TV since there isn't anything worth watching on. I do love Downton Abbey and look forward to more of it. However, these shows that come around so infrequently, rather than running all the time, lose me since I never know when they start etc. I missed a lot of Downton Abbey, Mad Men etc since I never knew when it was on and when it wasn't.
  24. I took statistics instead of calculus...more useful to me. Math has never been my favorite subject anyway.
  25. I loved it as a child. Became more self-conscious as I got older. I speak in front of people now, but still shake a little inside. If I have time to think about it, I get more nervous.
