1. Have you ever been skiing? NO. Went to Winter Park in Denver CO once though. Rode in a snow cat. 2. How about ice skating? No 3. Ever build a snowman? Once. He was about 12 inches tall. We had snow in 1989 or so and had several inches on the ground. We scooped up all we could and made a miniature snowman. 4. Make a snow angel? Yes. Time mentioned above. 5. Ever gone sledding? No 6. Do you get snow where you live? A few flakes once in awhile, but never enough to count ...except for that one unusual year in the 80s. I would love a white Christmas.

I love to do random acts of kindness...especially when the person doesn't know where it came from. Sure wish I could win the lottery...think of how much fun I could have with millions of dollars! I always do something special this time of year though. Last few years...my niece works with the dept of family and children services and she always has a family in need that we try to do something special for (pay an electric bill about to be disconnected, or help a single parent Mom with a tree and presents for her kids etc). This year, I had a student confide in me that she would not be attending next semester since her financial aid did not cover her costs this semester and she owed some money to the foundation at the school so they would not let her enroll until it was paid. I called the lady in charge of the foundation for the total (it wasn't a huge amount) and paid it with strict instructions not to let the student know who paid it. So this is my Christmas gift to myself this year. My grandmother taught me that you will always reap what you sow. If you want kindness from others, you have to give it and I certainly have been blessed! It doesn't always have to be monetary gifts, just worked out that way for the last few years.
