Well, I have no stress since I am sitting it out this year....but I am wishing you all the best and hope everything works out. May you all pull front row!!!!

Sewing kit. Have had people make fun of me for having it....but have also had people very pleased that I had it when they needed one.
-
Depends on what the food is.....but as a rule I prefer grill since it is easier to clean up and doesn't heat up the house.

Hahahah!! Good one Mickey!!

^We do have a small one, but I have never been there but once or twice. Never found anything I liked. We have so few places to shop, everything disappears really quickly and I do not shop often.

So many have gone! RIP Alvin!

Salute Rhoda!! Loved your show! So sad to hear the news....may you go peacefully.

Experienced a first today........Got a "senior citizens" discount at the grocery store today! The girl behind the register didn't even ask, just gave it. I know I should be offended since I am not quite old enough, but saving money made me smile!!! I have reached another milestone I guess....or maybe I just looked especially bad today, lol!

Boating on saltwater...walking on the beach after a nice dinner at a restaurant.

I just can't justify spending about $1500 to see the band from row 15 or whatever sport you manage to score on the floor at Fonda this year. It takes that much considering flights, hotels, rental car, eats, and show tickets. If I spend that much I should at least expect to be where I can see the band. I bought tickets one time and ended up with row 20 on floor and couldn't see anything but the monitors and the backs of a bunch of people's heads. I cannot physically handle the festivals this year...too much walking and standing.
If I lived near NY or LA...it would be different. Hope you all get great tickets and give those of us who cannot go a detailed report on what we missed. I hope they record the shows and sell DVDs.

^ yep Marion! I Have decided to sit this one out too! Too much stress for me. I can't stand in line for hours for a good spot to stand for a show at Fonda and am not willing to pay for a chance to have a seat in the first 15 rows at the Beacon. Unless it is the first 3 rows...it is a waste of money. Also, I have yet to get a reponse from my email on whether I am in the "legacy" group or not. It doesn't have to be so hard! Last year, I got a couple of tickets in the second row for Bob Seger without any drama or paying for a fan club membership. Also I did not have a group of drunks irritating everyone through the whole show. Paid premium ticket prices for TPATH last year and could not enjoy the show for the drunks in the front row.
I do not like to be negative, but I cannot go through this hassle to get tickets again.

Oh dear! I have two master's degrees and am used to wordy readings, but that explanation gave me a headache. Sounds mighty complicated. Do not see how it can turn out well.....
-
I emailed them last night. Will let you know if I hear back. I am really getting too old for this....

TPATH tickets. I sometimes get offered jobs out of the blue...never got TPATH tickets offered to me, always have to struggle and end up paying out the nose.
-
Well, I guess I have been placed in the B group too. I have been a member for years now and have never let it lapse. I do not have the patience to go through this again. I do not think I will even try for tickets this year. No other band has such a difficult process. I am tired of struggling and having to contact the website folks everytime. I hope you all have great results!

1. What's one of your favorite "little things" to enjoy life? Walk on the beach to smell ocean air. On the same page...riding in the boat watching dolphins, and birds and smelling ocean air.
2. What's been the most useless purchase you have ever made? Salad spinner. The lettuse is still wet even after you spin and spin...lol!
3. What do you consider the soundtrack to your life? All music in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s....but especially TPATH of course.
4. What one ridiculous luxury would you take if you were filthy rich? Would take all my friends to concerts, Europe or anywhere they want to go. We would go in style too...limos etc so we do not have to drive....
5. What's a memorable tv ad you have seen? "Where's the beef?" comes to mind.
6. Do you have a problem doing things alone sometimes? ie; eating out, going to the movies, etc.. No. Have traveled a lot for work so you learn to eat alone. Do not go to movies with anyone much less alone.

Yes,very sad. Used to love that show. Pancreatic cancer is a bitch! My first husband died of that and it was very difficult. May she RIP!

Congrats!! What a blessing!

Don't want to have to stand in line for a seat up front at Henry Fonda. NY looks like assigned seats, but NY hotels are so pricey...do not know if I can swing it. I missed the Vic and Fillmore and would love to make one of these....just do not know if I can afford NY or survive general admission for LA...anyone have more experience than me who can offer advice?
-
I did get a code on the site for ticket purchases...so I must be okay. It is always an adventure isn't it?

^That is the usual way it goes. The instructions are never clear. My membership was set to expire on Feb 1, so I renewed then ....although the only option was for 2012 on the membership page. I emailed "Help" and posted a questions about it but never got a response. The new site lists me as a member and the old site has me down till Feb 2014...so maybe I am okay. Sent an email to the "new" caretakers and as usual have not received a response. I do not intend to be negative....but am not expecting anything to be different with the new site.
I am hoping it is the smaller venue Mike mentioned that will posted tomorrow. we will see.......again waiting - the hardest part!

That must be how I got it on my ipod.....thanks Marion!

I watched with my baby sitter who turned me on to the band. Me and my cousins used to get the brooms, mops and whatever we could find that looked like a guitar and shake our heads while pretending to play and singing "EWWWWWW! She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah!"
