We added in to our sets one of my favorite cover songs of Rod Stewart's " I'd Rather Go Blind ". Also we've added in this week "Lodi" and "Suzy Q" "Born on the Bayou" "Dizzy Miss Lizzie" "All Along the Watchtower" "Taking Care Of Business" about 12 different songs than last Friday.

I've always loved the song "shiloh". I'll have to get this from a friend !!

These celebs have to much money !!

Thats strange !! I mean I have, as many of us do, many personal things in the house that I don't want to share with the outside world. I sometimes think it might be fun just to sleep in a different room in the house. I'm thinking of camping in the backyard when my boys get older. Did that with my daughters when they were young. Maybe we'll sleep downstairs in the livng room.

I remember that tv movie he made where he was sick ( i think carol burnett played the wife but I'm not sure )....man, he was so good in that movie. Does anybody remember that one ? I hope he gets well.

In the small town I live in now, I can't think of any. But in Monroe, the county seat, there is a famous statue of Gen. George Custer, that was dedicated by President Taft. It was originally in the city center but was later moved, (against the wishes of his widow) and she never forgave the town! Many people think of Custer as only an Indian fighter, but he was actually a brave Union soldier who help win the war between the states. For years the statue was a light green due to tarnish, but was cleaned a few years ago and now is very dark and majestic. The general is standing proud on his horse. Usually when a soldier dies during battle the horse is raised on its hind legs, this statue has one front leg bent back. Anyway vandals are always painting the horses balls !! Oh well, so much for respecting a vet !!

What I want to do this week is whoever's song we start the set with, we end the set with another of their song (ie. start with Green River and end with Born on the Bayou ), just to see if anyone in the crowd notices. Thats always fun to do.

Gas just hit 3.95 in Toledo !!

Well we've settled in to this club for the rest of the Fridays of this month !! Last week twice as many people showed up !! Sat. gig was good too. This week we play again on Fri..and then Sat we play another small club, that is a little more rock than country. We are going to open with You really got me by the kinks, and then we are going to do 2 CCR songs each set !! I hope they like CCR !!

I was tall for my age. By 7th grade I was taller than most of the boys. ( I remember one Mom asking her son how many times I got held back, cause I was tall as his Dad ) Plus I weighed more too, which I remember some girl asking how much I weighed....I eventually evened out, but when I seen her about 20 years ago she had become enourmous !! And then there was this bully on the bus, who made fun of my "ruler" !! We had needed one for school, and I forgot to tell my mom and dad, and it was late sunday night, so dad found a yardstick and cut off the first 12" for my ruler. This kid kept saying "look at Tim's ruler, its part of an old yardstick ". I remember feeling so bad cause I felt it slighted my dad. Anyway many moons later, I'm playing at this club, in this real hot band that everyone was coming to see, and this kid is a guy now, and he comes up to the band and says " Tim, you remember me, I use to ride the bus with you when we went to school, and I want ya to meet some people I'm with, they don't believe I know you " and I go "what, I can't place you " He goes remember I lived over on South Otter next to so and so." and I go, no, must be someone who looked like me....Anyway this guy gives up and goes back to his table, and his wife and friends are all laughing and going see we told ya you didn't know him." That to me felt good !! I don't know why, but by golly I felt good about that. I remember also standing up for someone that was mildley slow, and some kid was making fun of him, and I said you wanna make something out of it ? And he back down (thank god) and this mean kid ended up being ok after that, and he didn't tease the other one again. So I think teasing is part of growing up, I know it taught me how to come back with a quick come back !! To this day I have people say, wow you're quick. Well, you learn these things. And for all you tall girls, I like tall woman !! Love and Peace !!

i never payed attention, I just put it on and leave, or I wait till my wife puts it on ! LOL

1. Describe where you grew up. I grew up on a small country back road about 20 minutes from the city of Monroe, home of Gen. Custer. My road had lots of farm land and farms, and wooded areas where I would take my dog, Teddy and go hiking. When I was younger I always thought that I lived in a nice little all american town. It was not to I became an adult and found out about all the corruption at the county courthouse, how just a few families "ran" the county's politics, policies, etc. How if you knew someone, or if someone was your relative you could violate all kinds of laws and get away with it. I've been told that Monroe is a "good old boy town" and it certainly has prooved it many times over. I wish they would've taught this in school, instead of all the crap about us each having our civil rights and freedoms. There are no "civil rights" or "freedoms" once you test to find out. The sad thing is most people don't even know or care, they want their safe, fantasy world. 2. I have wedding ring and thats it. I've worn big rings before ( ala Fats Domino and Elvis ), but that was just for the stage. 3. What do you have to much of ? worries 4. Who is a fool ? Anyone who lives in Michigan and doesn't know the truth about their cuckolding law, nor cares to find out. 5. What's your nickname ? never had one, never desired one.

I drink coffee, but I make my own. I like it very strong !! So I would have to order something that was like my own. I have never been in a "coffee" shop, and feel about the same about paying for coffee as I feel about paying for water !! I've drank McDonald's, and other fast food places on a pinch when traveling. The most weakest coffee on earth ? Church coffee as most older ladies make it very weak !! LOL

I did away with cable......and got my life back !! I found myself flipping through the channels trying to find something to watch. over channels and sometimes not one show of interest. And then when I did find something, I found myself not being able to turn it off, to get to bed, or get things done. Now I have a regular TV, sometimes its in sometimes its not. I get my news on the radio or the net.
