We're going back !! The night was perfect and we will be going back in the fall, I'll let y'know and maybe ? Anyway this week we've added "the apartment song" by TP, "Down In the Boondocks" Billy Joe Royal ( our guitarist played with him back in the '90's), "I want Candy" strangeloves. Since we began playing less than 2 months ago we have played 131 different songs !! Yippee..this is the most fun I have ever had in a band !! We all get along, and each guy is amazing on their instrument !! (plus I get to play bass, accoustic guitar, electric 12, electric gtr, keyboards, tamborine ) I'm having the time of my life !!

congrats......i've been a great uncle to 2 little girls since the 1980's, the one just got married last sept. and the other graduated last year. Enjoy !!

We play our regular gig on Friday ( and its hot here ) and Sat we're travelin to Ypsi !!

So sad to hear this. He was a humble person from what I've read in interviews, I remember one where he talks how many of today "stars" are so untalented yet they're getting so many awards, and money !! I met him in Detroit, at the Detroit guitar show many years ago. Everyone was grouped around him, about 30 people or so. But later I almost walked into him when he was coming out of a display and I was going....I went "Oh my gosh, Bo Diddley...you're great man, would you mind giving me your autograph, and he did. He signed a brochure that I had about Gibson guitars." I still have that !! Guess my band will be doing "bo diddley" this week !!

I'm getting ready to start a new full time job ( 4pm to 1230 am) Still doing my old one about ( 25 hrs ) a week, plus the band fri and sat. I'm going to be busy !!

I agree with starfish, all of the above would've been nice.

I get queezy when I have to let me wife drive it ( LOL ), its paid for, and I don;t know what we would do if something happened. My wife is a good driver, I'm just funny about that. Because its a van, I have let some of the band members pull it up to the gig to load up, so I guess I'm ok with something like that. My mother in law has used it ( you never upset the mother in law !! ).

Did anybody take notes on what guitars were used by the guys ? Now thats the kind of stuff that I'm interested in. Or pictures of the guitars ? Its nice to see you so Happy Wingspan !!

Nice review, but Mike said in his interview in that guitar mag, that the Vox beatle amps are used for show only !! Nice that the reviewer thought the sound came from them.....LOL.

Would someone please invent a way to use all the "hot air" that comes out of Washington ? That should keep us in energy for sometime !! LOL I met a guy last week that ran his car on veg. oil. We will probably here alot of stories like this in the years coming.

Wild 1 forever, It was US rep Maxine Waters ( D ) 35th dist. I agree with complexkid, and surfnburn, I even wish we could buy out natural gas and electric cheaper. But what of the health care, lots of people can not afford it ( it was close to $800 for my wife and me, per month, we paid it for years then finally had to drop it) that affects the whole economy. Should everyone get it ? Should someone who is over weight, drinks, does drugs get it the same as a "health nut " ? throwing questions like surfnburn. I just hate the thought of the government handleing anything, they seem to mess things up so badly (i.e. social security, public education, etc.) I also hate the thought of the government coming in and saying OK, you've made enough, you started your company, you made the initial investment, you put in your time, and cared for your workers, but now you're making to much money, and we want it, for free, so we can "sale" it and the profits we will use so we can find out why crickets mate in the summertime instead of the winter, or some other dumb study !!
