Hear the news about GM today ? Last summer they said they had enough of money to float, today they claimed they may run out in 2009 !!

Its just another way to get $ out of the working class !! Don't fall for it. Now if the state said "buy a personalize plate and we will keep the school for the blind open" it would be worth it. I'm against giving anyone who hasn't earned it, power over my hard working dollars !!

A good lawyer !! ( one that will stand up against the state )

I think everyone is happy that the election news is over, but we will still have many weeks and months of people talking about it, etc. I too wish more parties were involved, and the people could hear all the options. And please don't forget our native americans !! The place you call home was taken from them !! Oh and on a lighter note, the Bio channel is showing the Monkees bio at 9 on thurs, and a bio on Davy Jones at 10.

"historic" I was jsut thinking how many "historic" things have happened in my lifetime. Maybe every generation came take that claim, but it seems baby boomers relish that word a bit more. And "historic" doesn't always trun out well, which is the downside of things. To proclaim that America has "changed" before a single proposition, or bill has been proposed officially seems about as odd as saying "the war is over". We can all hope ( or pray if you believe in that sort of thing ) that the next four years will be good and prosperous for every American, but will it ? Only at the end of a vacation, can you say you had a great time, not before it. It would be nice that those that want to work will find a job that pays more than they are making now. It would be nice if property taxes were lower. It would be nice if gasoline was cheap. It would be nice that an alternative fuel sourse is discovered and everyone gets it for a cheap price. It would be nice if our schools started turning out the most educated students in the world. It would be nice if everyone had free health care. It would be nice if everyone has their dreams fulfilled. It would be nice if every person that desires a child of their own would be able to have one. It would be nice if everyone could/would fall in love with the person they were meant to be with. It would be nice if all wars and harsh words cease to exist in the minds of the human race. Peace and love, let those words be our mantra of the day.

A sad day for the native american !!

Didn't they use to be called "french ticklers" ? LOL

My party didn't even have a candidate this year !! Oh well, another 4 years of dem/rep rule !! Its to bad the headlines already are saying "first BLACK president", why does color matter ? After all these years and triumphs ? He is a man first. Its to bad so many people are color concious. When I think of early rock n roll performers, I don't say "Oh and my favorite BLACK singer is Fats Domino" I just say my favorite singer is Fats Domino. Its to bad. America still has alot to learn. But who will my neighbor down the street, who bought a house they could not afford, blame now ? And if they get to keep their house which cost 3 times as much as mine, do I get some sort of rebate on my taxes because I bought only what we could afford ? I hope so. I hope common sense still matters.

Even if you vote today, the outcome has been predetermined who will win., by the winning class. elections in the U.S. are to keep the "working" class from becoming the "ruling" class and to make the average Joe feel important.

There will be more in the coming year or two. With Chrysler going under and all the satelite companies, plus with the new cars coming from China, most auto workers will be out of work, which will result in less income tax being paid, schools will lose students, resulting in teachers being laid off. If the government steps in, we will all be living in government housing, and having to do "community" time. Look for a big change in the next year to two, on how wealth is kept and how fredoms will be lost.

I've been waiting over a year for Part II of this interview. Thanks for posting.

I seen the promo on Vh 1 classics today.....! Has some clips from the documentary ( interviews, and the move to calif scenes ) plus rehearsals and concert performances, looks really good ( one shot had Tom using a fireglo ric bass ). The promo was on for about 20 secs or so. The story of mudcrutch and they show the Cd cover.

$1.97 in toledo on Sat. ( which should be .20 less than Mi with those insane state taxes that MI has ). Bad politics and corruption rules the homeland ysb17, so they are finally getting what's coming to them, 'cept it hurts alot of innocent hard working people !!

In 7th grade, my friend Randy and I took our lunch money, put it together and bought a box of mints the school band was selling. Felt sick the whole afternoon. Never did that again.

I don't collect them, but if I see someone I admire I try to get it. The most recent was Micky Dolenz. I'll tell you the real kick is when somebody asks me for mine ( which has happened a few times since I first started playing back in the '70's ). I have a few including Bo Diddley, Micky Dolenz, Davy Jones, the grass roots, the lovin spoonful cept john S. and Zal, eric burden, Billy J. Kramer, Mark Hudson, Klaus Vorrman, Donovan, gene and dino of the young rascals, I think that's it.

I've never seen this (or don't remember that I did ) so I like it. Shows alot of cool gtr's ( Vox teardrop Mike, Tom's dble bound 6 string rick in mapleglo, and the surprise for me is Howie's nataural violin Hofner ) Also during the solo quite a few gtr's are shown. ( cool ). The song has an interesting stereo mix, with the backing vocals coming from both sides while the lead vocal stays in the middle. How would this song fit into a "southern" LP ? Well my guess is with the horns, female backing vocals, he was doing a tribute to the Stax records sound. Just my opinion though. It's not one of his best songs, but it is catchy, and it does grow on you. They looked like they were having fun making this video.
