She was always saying "come to bed early to keep me warm" and now with her new Christmas gift being installed today, not only will she be warm, but I've got my Christmas shopping done !! Some of my friends are still trying to guess what their wives want !! Fools !!

I like Lansing, Cleveland, Columbus, Cinncinnati, Detroit suburbs, or one of the lakes around here. The first four on my list I have to leave early to enjoy the day, cause they are so far away.

No, I just never speak to that person again. I replace them with "new" people. Your world constantly evolves that way.

Also something I've learned from years of shopping. If a place has a buy 2 get 1 free deal. Ask yourself do really "want" one ? And how are saving any money getting 2 if you had no plans of buying 1 before you enter the store. I often find myself asking someone to buy 1 and give me the "free" one since they are still getting what they originally wanted, plus they get the 'happy" feeling of "giving" and it didn't cost them a thing !! Doesn't work to often, but still, you never hit the ball if you don't take a swing !!

Sure, I'd split it with them, but they would have to work for it first !! (just kidding).

I even talk to myself, so that would be very difficult !!

Doing what you feel is the right thing, is always a good feeling. Stay strong once you've made your decision. Take time before you even think of "getting serious" with someone else. I feel sorry for women today !! I took my youngest son with me ( the other one was with my wife ) and went to find a porta potty !! It was only about 25 degrees, but the wind chill was about 13, and I was bundled up so well it took for ever to be able to use the stall ( and it was crowded with him standing behind me ) and I was thinking " I'm a so glad I'm not a woman having to use this " How do you manage ?

Pretty good......I found and ordered for $12 the dvd of TP's 1999 Rockpalyst show !! Looked for a better job. Was the recipient of a very kind act by a total stranger. My band got a couple more bookings. ( We started our 8th month as the house band at a local club ) I got a new 500 watt Yamaha PA board ( a gift from an admirer !! ). Spent endless hours playing and doing things with my boys. Learned 4 new songs for our Friday gig. Took care of a lot of things that needed to be taken care of. And had a great family day at Christmas in Ida. So if next week is as good......watch out !!

1. what kind of f*cking question is this ? 2. never thought about doing any of that fookin' stuff. 3. Go*Da**, Fu** It, 4. I don't understand why the %*#@ we do that !! Some people are just %#$(*& !! 5. No cursing around children I'd be for that. If its on the car radio, it should be so you can hear it, but not those around you. More laws just cost more money to enforce. I think its about the same as when I was young, cept in the movies, but then again what the f*ck do I know !!

My friend ( who has very little income and has been self employed for most of his life ) had a heart attack, and needed attention. He had a quad. surgery on his heart, for free !! He has found government programs that provide support and meds. If you are very very poor, you can be taken care of. Its the self employed working class, that has to pay so much ( my wife and I had to pay $875 a month for health insurance with a $25 co pay ) and that was 5 years ago. Plus since we paid it through our company, we had to claim the $875 per month as income and pay taxes on it at the end of the year !! Now I have friends that are auto workers and teachers who get free health care. ( 'cept their employer is really paying the big bucks, there is no such thing as "free" health care ). I knew one teacher who complained when his co-pay went from $2.00 per scrip to $5.00 !! Plus he didn't have to claim his "health" benefit as income at the end of the year !! ( go figure) Anyway our health care isn't bad, it's just a mess. A woman works her whole life, retires and has to make decisions on what pills she can afford. Another woman (who hasn't work much or any in her life ) has a baby, no husband, some deadbeat guy is the dad, and the state cares for the infant !! True story. Who gets and who doesn't is not fair in the USA. Go figure. We have a system that needs a fixin' !!

Homeless....our prison system is haven for sex ( unwanted and wanted ) and the authorities know it. Disgusting.

Smoking is just bad for people. So is over eating. So is no exercise. So is driving and talking on a cell phone. So is so on and so on. Where does it stop ? Who decides which is bad enough to ban ?

Nurk, I didn't know that there was ever a prediction for it in 2012 !! Now I am beginning to wonder. The date I had, had nothing to do with Nostradamus. I get an eerie feeling thinking about it.

No, folks didn't have dental insurance, or the cash. But I met a buck tooth girl once, and I never wanted anyone making fun of my daughters like people did that woman, so I made sure I worked overtime and had the money for my daughter, and the one I thought was my daughter, and they both had braces for a number of years. The one who wasn't mine, ended up having braces form the time she was very young to 14 or so. It took alot of money, but they both have beautiful smiles today. I hope they both remember that someday. I don't know what the final amount was but I could've bought them a car.
