I don't care much for the rudeness of others, so I try to avoid shopping as much as possible, but when I have to go, I will go through the self serve line, or go between midnight and 3. I prefer small stores to big too.

yes and no. 1) I borrow alot from friends and we trade. 2) I buy on the net and save Tax. 3) I haven't bought anything new from a store in some time.

How do we know the dog hasn't found a homeless person ? I mean there are alot of strays out there, and maybe they took a liking to that person who was in the same boat as theirself.

I agree with Nurk, there are some amazing 52 year old women out there, one just needs to know where to look !! LOL which reminds me of my gig last Saturday in Jonesville,MI. After the gig three ( count 'em ) ladies in their late 60's and up, came up and gave the band hugs for playing so well !! I told the guys later "that's what I like about being a star "!! LOL....anyway....ladies wear your thongs with pride !!

Nice post. Again I say, I need a book about Tom and Mike's gtr collection !! ( ala The Beatles Gear) that came out a few years ago. The only thing I have is the Interview in Vintage Gtr., but there are only so many pages for that kind of thing.

But don't ever think that we ( people I know ) could live like they do in China. My friend got her baby from china ( a little girl ) that was left at a hospital, because people do not want baby girls ( no fem movement there ). Also when she went there she was amazed to see their "toilets"......sort of a hole in the ground that you must squat over !! Now I can't imagine some of the big women I've met at the county and state offices squatting over a toilet like that !!

WB......hey I've got a cousin that lives in Germany. He's lived there since around '66 !! He married a German girl and now lives there.

I'm don't know if they still do, but back in the 90's , the dictator of Lybia made sure every couple got a house when they married. Can't we do that ? This is a sad story. As for the libraries.....in my area ( Bedford Twp, MI ) a local official was accused of viewing porn on his office computer during working hours, because there was no law against it, nothing was pursued. He won re election this past year !! ( I thought couldn't they checked his hard drive to see ? ) There is a local movement in Toledo to "take back Toledo".....well how about a take back the U.S. for US !!! How many states and cities in the US are not financially broke ? Makes you wonder how the people in control are allowed to continue to over spend money they do not have. Wish we could do that.

I buy for my boys and that's about it.

Hey Connie, hang in there. I lost weight when I stopped thinking about losing. Just had a pair of pants that were 2 sizes smaller than usual and kept trying to get in them every 3 or 4 wks. Try that and don't worry. You will lose if its suppose to happen !! My rant yesterday got me a possible two jobs !! ( a singing solo gig in march and a permanent job with (name withheld for obvious reasons). The boss of a boss called me last night and said they were going to hire me. ( didn't say when, but why would someone take the time to call if it wasn't soon ? )

I have to listen to all of it, and then re hear it a few times to really get to know it. I guess that's how I am on alot of things.

WD ? that's a new one for me. What's it mean? ( waco doctors ?, wasted days ? women dancers ? ) I like this thread, it lets me know that I am not alone in my troubles. I hope all goes well for those who are ill, or feeling down. My daughter is dealing with those electronic things at the hospitol, and she was complaining how those who don't know what they're doing are really messing things up. I've heard about kids losing their cell phones, and notes not coming home. A friend of mine's grand child died of SIDS on Friday, she was 4 mos. ( but what is odd this the 5 th child in same family to die of SIDS ). My big thing is now just finding work ( I have to go talk to a club owner about a solo gig this evening ) and I have to go to the state about retraining tomorrow ( I'm thinking about the medical field ). I went yesterday, but was told the place was packed and to come back ( although they told me Friday no appointment was necessary, and it took me 50 minutes to get there and another 50 min to return home. ( Which I quickly dashed off a letter to my rep's in the state, it is so disorganize !! ) Heard where the banks in England are being taken over by their government. Heard where the Bank of America ( after buying up Merril Lynch for 45 bil is now worth half that and may fold ) Heard where Citi bank is now worth $2 a share ( was $154 a year ago ). Seen pictures of the Iranian's burning photo's of the prez last week before he even became the president. Heard that one of the prisoner's who had a hand in 911 is getting 120 days before his trial thanks to a new executive order. So alot is going on I guess, and it will all affect me some how, even if I stay in bed !! LOL

Hey Emmie, I think I like your husband !! I always dread them til I get back, then I wish that I had enjoyed them more. I'm forever counting the dollars saying....I can't believe they charge this much for.....!! Which reminds me of what my sister in law said, What does Viagra and Disneyworld have in common ? You have to wait an hour for a 2 minute ride !!! You wait

Oh, I thought this poll was for guys too, but since it appears only ladies have answered......I'll have to think of ......some ladies I knew......ok, I've got it. 1. Carrie......she smelled really sweet and very sensual in a not to aggressive way. 2. Judy........she always smelled very nice, but with just a hint of italian sauce !! 3. Mary Joe......she made my Dodge Ram smell good too, the next day I always knew she had been there the night before. 4. Karen......light with just a bit of that "go for it, its not to late" scent. 5. Linda......always just enough to want me to go back for more !! I'm not sure of the brands....but the scents will last a lifetime.

It's to early to tell. What seems bad at any given moment, can really turn out to be good as time passes. So I'll say average. Any president is only as good as the congress he gets and the people who he leads.

Sometimes I enjoy it alot, other times I hate it. But there was no "other" spot to mark on this poll. Its' interesting, to think of all the different times a person has to drive in their car. Not only joyful times ( going to get a baby a the hospital ) but sad ones ( going to a funeral home, or burrying a love one )scared times ( going to court or the dentist ) or fun times ( concerts, dates). and then mundane times ( going to work, store, etc. )
