  1. I just heard that we spend $20 million a year in the courtrs to prosecute illegal alians, and then only 1 in 5 are actually deported. There is no "court" in this land, not fair and unbias. To often child rapist, especially the female ones, get away with it.

I would not turn her in. But the question does not state the age of the child, or the sex of the rapist, so lets say the child was male, and 16, his rapist was his 28 year old female school teacher. Do you still answer the same ? Still protect Mom ?

Usually when your read these kind of questions you think, older male , scumbag, out of work bum, raping a little 4 year old female. Why is that ?

  2. And in hindsight, how did FDR, get in the top 10. Wasn't the social security fiasco his baby ? Oh right, we were only suppose to live till the ripe old age of 62. Huh, we fooled him huh ? And didn't he also ignore Washington's warnings to stay out of Europe's wars ? And lets not even go with the fact that some say he had prior knowledge to Peal Harbor.......and Truman ? To use the Bomb and take us into the Atomic age ?

They might've showed Japan our latest weapon and then threatened to use it if they did not comply. Its hard to really vote on a Top Ten because the times were so different in each decade. Maybe they were just going on the popularity or as somone else mentioned their personality. And how did Kennedy get on the list when his refusal to bring home the troops from Vietnam before the '64 election, resulted in years of escalation of the war ? There are still to many people who fell in love with the whole "camelot" press releases and refuse to see his presidency objectively.

And what about all those "Indian" campaign's that broke treaty after treaty, so the United States could steal the land of the native americans ? And notice how "high" all the most recent ones score cept George W.Bush. Maybe they should've had a cut off date of say, 1970 or so, as I think history, isn't really wrote by the people who live during the time that is being written. I'm currently reading a world history book, and it is amazing how so much history is repeated over and over, with just the names and countries being changed. ( I read the other night, where the Holy Roman Empire, after having made a comeback, had to break up again, after it was discovered that it could no longer support itself being so big ). Where have all the flowers gone ?

  3. My friend had a "break in" of his house, and they took his wife's purse, and his wife's car, and his son's car !! He noticed the break in around 2 in the morning, when he got up to check on his parrot who was yelling "put that purse down". At first he thought he was dreaming as he had fell asleep in his easy chair, and normally the bird doesn't talk. The police came and as far as he knows the police got a full description of the two robbers from the bird !!! He's not sure if they'll catch the thieves though as the bird has been known to lie before.

  4. Hey I just scored my first solo booking of the year. My drummer will be accompany me on percussion. I'm playing March 7, in Toledo, OH at a club called the "Dog House", a nice little club that I did a guest spot a few weeks ago. I play from 9:30 to 1:30. Its the first booking that my agent has gotten for me. I am hoping for more. I'm hoping to do 1 to 2 solo gigs a month along with my band gigs. ( We currently do 4 to 6 band gigs a month ) March is looking up for me !!!

  5. Wow...I just watched old ones from the library....."All Dogs Go To Heaven", "U-571" and "Mary Popins". Its fun to watch kids movies and hear the kids laugh.

One thing that struck me though, when "MP" was made in '64, it was set in 1910 ( 54 years ) and now its been 45 years since the movie was made. I wonder if '64 seems as long ago to some today as 1910 did to me in 1964.

  6. The above is funny, but its really no laughing matter.

I wrote to my Sen. and asked how $150 million to Phillipine veterans of WW II was going to get me a job ? Although all voted for the stimulus package, I've yet to hear a response to my question.

Our government is getting bigger and bigger, same thing happened before in history, and countries have had to divide up, they could no longer "afford" to be such a "huge" country. It might not happen while any of us are living, but I think this is the beginning of the end. Also I just heard GM still may file chapter 11, so good bye to that loan. Does anyone know if the letters GM really mean "Gimme More" ? Now that's funny !!! LOL

  7. Darwin.....he's a international personality, and his findings or opinions impacted mankind, whereas I believe Lincoln's impact was more national, 'cept if you look upon what would've happened had the US became 2 country's. There may had been more strife, or less strife, possibly Germany would've won WW1 or WW2, or maybe there would've never been a WW2 had they won WW 1 so who knows. It boggles the mind. What would've happened if after the Civil War all slaves were returned to Africa ( as some wanted ) ?

  8. When I was 17 I wanted to take my accoustic gtr and hop a train and live the life of a hobo. Now, that doesn't seem quite as interesting (be my luck I'd throw the gtr aboard and then not be able to get on it myself). I would like to take a camper and travel the US...lots of freedom on the road. Cost wise, the train would probably be cheaper.

  9. When I was 18 I said 21, and got to drink in Ohio. When I was 25 I said 32, and people would say "you're young looking"

When I was 32 I said 40 and everyone said "you look good for 40" When I was 45 I said I was 52 and people would say "you look younger than that" So I now say that I'm 58 and people say "you've taken care of yourself"......age is pointless anyway, If no one told you how old you were, how would ya know ? But as Groucho Marx use to say "you're only as old as the women you feel "
