  1. I hope she comes back soon. And that everything is okay.
  2. I hope you enjoy the spirit that is -- Mudcrutch Farm.
  3. ^and the craziness seems to be accelerating. It's sad. We used to most of our priorities straight - now, well....the economic divide continues to widen.
  4. George is amazing - you are right. I was focusing on the harmonies and loved when Paul and George sang together. But clearly George was an amazing musician...and he wrote some of the best songs of all times. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and your love of this amazing music. I truly appreciate you and I am so happy to learn from all of you on this forum. Thanks so much for sharing.
  5. I finally got to watch the second video posted - The Beatles, The harmonies between John and Paul, amazing. Three part harmonies even better - and then the segment with Paul and George harmonizing - I just loved it. There voices melted so great together, even with all the screaming around them. And they looked like they were having so much fun, sharing microphones. Nurt - thanks so much for posting. Paul's voice has always had such life in it - so much joy - delightful. It has such a special quality to it.
  6. The backing musicians were having so much fun playing with Bob Dylan - it was nice to see an act that wasn't over staged. I hate all the spectacle that surrounded most of the other acts (Not Mick - he ROCKED) it drowns out and takes away from the real talent (or untalent).
  7. AngelDream - that was just lovely. Thanks for reminding me. I don't remember it (only two) but I have seen replays. I love that it brings back memories of your father.
  8. Out the windows - we only have one story - but lots of windows.
  9. Happy Birthday Mike - I hope your dogs get a special treat today to celebrate their Dad's birthday.
  10. I'm thankful I can fly to Chicago for Mom's operation tomorrow.
  11. ^^you're younger than I am. I am way too old for Beavis and Butthead.
  12. :041:Wouldn't it be great if another network would pick up the slack and put on a halftime show of its own with real talent.
  13. Chicago. My mom has cancer (lives in Chicago)- so between chemo and radiation - we should be celebrating in April - keep finders crossed. Miss you Lizzie B.
  14. Happy birthday - thanks for making me feel welcome here. You are the best.
  15. You can post this once a month - it doesn't get old. It's beautiful.
  16. Rod was funny - And Stevie's comment about hanging out with English people, so she knows and feels comfortable with Rod, was kind of well...interesting.
  17. Too expensive for me....I watched the clip of them on Ellen. They hardly know each other. But, I hope to catch one of their lesser expennsive show - just to see Stevie.
  18. The tickets for the Hollywood Bowl were rather expensive.
  19. I bet Sascha Baron Cohen will transform himself into Eddie. It's a chance of a lifetime. I can't wait to see it.
  20. How could anyone even think of protesting that beautiful child's funeral? I'm a Christian - but, they aren't reading the same scriptures I am. There wasn't anyone more accepting then Jesus. I am so sad that people like this exist. (Please don't take this as preachy.)
