I love Mike's jacket.

Stouffer's frozen Swedish Meatballs - they are so much better than mine. I eat them when I need to be reminded of home.
-
I hope someone who really appreciates Mike snags that one.

After the slaughter that occured this week, this is such a beautiful place to think about and to learn about and to support. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Those amazing animals deserve a beautiful home. It is so assuring that this one is there even if it is just for a few of them.
-
I'm so sorry Lizzie - she sure was beautiful and it looks like she was filled with joy.

You and Fred are adorable - such big smiles, such huge hearts. If my mom is healthy next year, I might take her to this. She loves elephants. Thanks for passing on the information.

You look great! How much fun to stand next to that amazing artist. I love his poetry.

So sad for those animals.

FRom the Guacamole Fund..
We are very pleased to announce a special Guacamole Home Grown VI benefit concert, Monday November 14 with Jackson Browne performing solo acoustic at the intimate Hermosa Beach Playhouse Theater in Southern CA, to support the work of the Guacamole Fund. We will have a special presale for our reserved seating at $100 and very limited Green Circle seating at $250 on our website only at http://www.guacfund.org - The Green Circle seats will
benefit NO Power PLANT, a project of Building a Better Redondo, to stop
the proposed rebuilding of a new power plant on our coast.
www.nopowerplant.com ..... Pete Seeger once told me that as you get
older you should start working closer to home. So be it.
The special pre-public sale for the will begin at 10:00 AM this Wednesday
on our website and last until 12:00 noon Thursday. The public sale on our
website will begin Friday at noon. There are also some $75 general
admission tickets, available only at our three southbay outlets, Dietz
Bros. Music in Manhattan Beach, The Bike Shop in Hermosa Beach and Rhythm &
Notes in Redondo. These also go on sale at noon Friday. This is very small
500 seat community theater.....and support like this is how
we keep the lights (solar powered) on. Check out Jackson's website
http://www.jacksonbrowne.com for all his doings and ours at

I sat at my home desk and wrote. With my mom being in and out of the hospital, I haven't written since the end of July. It felt so good.

My French Teacher is now a friend on Facebook. Back then she let me skip class and she played the French national anthem whenever I asked her to. She wasn't a great teacher, but she was always a friend. And it was so nice to find her again.
My algebra teacher thought I had committed a mortal sin since I was for the passage of ERA. I don't need to see him.

^Yum.

It sucks to be practical. :085:^I know.

I love that our boys are doing this. It's not just about the money thank heavens, it's about the music.
-
Cool - see you are well known.
-
Oracle must have shelled out big bucks for that concert.

Every eight to twelve weeks I need to cover up my mousy grey roots and cut my wavy mane.
-
Seconds - if its something amazing....Hours-if I really don't want to go.
