  1. Happy Birthday Smokey - a little late, but love your photo.
  2. Nurktwin- I think that some of your questions are hysterical and I love the old videos you post....and the wine suggestions..... Thanks for all you do....And thanks to Marion, Patty and Ref.
  3. I think there is one too many zeros in the number of visitors. But -- who knows???? I spent a wonderful afternoon at the restaurant Jules Verne on the second level watching a storm roll in over Sacre Couer.
  4. I'd nod hello and maybe say "Good Evening." Then I would try to listen to their conversation. But, I would try not to stare or disturb them.
  5. ^^Who/What is the information source?
  6. Because of how you worded the questions, I choose the Great Wall of China. Since it is the only man-made object one can see from space, it is the biggest/largest on the list. And when I was there, it was packed.
  7. So I went to 50 Fun Toilet Facts, and found the following: 7. King George II of Great Britain died falling off a toilet on the 25th of October 1760. 10. The toilet is flushed more times during the Super Bowl halftime than at any time during the year. 11. 90% of pharmaceuticals taken by people are excreted through urination. Therefore our sewer systems contain heavy doses of drugs. A recent study by the EPA has found fish containing trace amounts of estrogen, cholesterol-lowering drugs, pain relievers, antibiotics, caffeine and even anti-depressants. 21. World Toilet Day takes place on November 19 of each year. 24. 40,000 Americans are injured by toilets each year.
  8. ^sorry for my statistical humor. That question just sent my mind off in a lot of directions.
  9. I wonder what the range of usage is? Toilet paper outliers? What would be the usage two standard deviations from the mean?
  10. Sitting in the bleachers at Wrigley Field -- that's how I like my beer.
  11. YEAH - could you imagine how terrifying that is for an animal? Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
  12. Have fun....and welcome. Let us know how much you enjoyed it afterwards.
  13. Robert Redford at a restaurant in Phoenix many moons ago. We also met Dixie Carter at the Cafe Carlyle after one of her shows -- we sat next to John Wallowitch, who wrote many of the songs she sung in her act, and his partner, Bertram Ross, who was Martha Graham's principle male dancers. We had a wonderful time together sitting and talking about music and performing.
  14. My mother told me I did....but I can't remember. I've see the tapes at least a million times.
  15. Mrs. Beasely - she looked so smart and she said the nicest things.
  16. ^ I love his hands, too. When at concerts, and I'm lucky enough to get an upfront seat, I can't take my eyes off his hands...Mike's hands, too.
  17. Once or twice a year I take my mother to Le Bernardin in New York City. We missed it in 2011 since she was in and out of the hospital so much. But my mom always seems to walk better on days we go there, and they treat her like a queen. Last time we went, they made her a special chocolate grenache cake to celebrate her birthday. The maitre's brought it out on a silver platter and the whole room watched as he lit the candle. Luckily, I think she will be healthy enough to go this year. One time I ran into the chef Eric Ripert, literally as I rushed to the ladies room - he is quite a handsome man. I excused myself in French, and he moved aside and spoke to me in French...I love French and handsome man...and fresh fish seasoned perfectly....and special service.
  18. A big tree house in the back yard - with a stairway leading through the attic and from my bedroom.
  19. I wish I could send him a card...Happy Birthday Mike!
