Just let me know where and when in Austin. I had to give up plans to go to Jazzfest. My Mom is having an operation on the 30th, so I'm flying up on Friday to get her in the right state of mind. But I told her she had to recuperate fast so that I don't miss the Austin show. Have you bought your tickets to Jazzfest yet, LizzieB? If not, let me know. I might have a pair to give you.

I love to swim in the ocean -- but can't do that as often as I would like. So, I guess walking my dog makes me happy.

One of my essays "Residual Value" was published in a literary journal called Artful Dodge. I keep reading it (and finding ways to improve it)- I worked really hard and long on that one and I am so glad to see it in print.

I am so happy for you. You will be a terrific grandmother.
