Beanie Babies meets Rock & Roll. It had to happen, I suppose.

I'd say no. I haven't really ruined anything on the grill that I can recall, but I'm nothing special there either. :-)

All 3 of our kids work, so that's a tough one - and the 2 oldest don't live at home anymore. I think we have to go back 3 or 4 months since everyone sat down for dinner together at the house.

I wish................sniff, sniff.........

The women's soccer and gymnastics were great, and the men's and women's swimming. But there are several other sports that I've enjoyed watching. These games have had a number of great stories. How about the Aussie guy running on blades! Fantastic story.

The first record I ever bought was "More of the Monkees", their second album. They will always be special to me.
-
I love the Monkees.

Jackwagon is another one. But one you always hear is "ginormous".

Of those choices, my family seems to like the Olive Garden best, but we sometimes go to the Cheesecake Factory and the Outback Steakhouse.

Beautiful. I have the Jazzmaster in candy apple red with the matching headstock, but I want a Jaguar. I want to try the short scale and the whammy bar that those have.
-
OK, that's it! I'm buying a Jaguar.

Whatever they find should be really interesting. Did you see those NASA scientists jumping around like little kids when that thing landed safely? How funny was that? Great to see this kind of enthusiasm.
I wish our elected officials would fund NASA properly so we can get our butts back up in space!

I've been watching tons of events, and it's fantastic!

1. What color are your eyes? Brown
2. How tall are you? 6' 4"
3. What was the last song you've heard? A song called "Bad Things" It's the theme song for that vampire porn show on HBO called True Blood. I'm working the song up for my band to play. Nice little minor key blues.
4. Take the book, which lies nearest to you. What is the first sentence on page 12? Page 12 is blank.
5. When was the last time you went to a school in order to get education? Had an on-line class for 3 days last week, if that counts.
6. To you Americans: Have you ever been to Europe? Yes, mostly in Italy, and it was fantastic.

Yes, I have an iPad that my company gave me, but I don't use it for much more than monitoring e-mail, really. It's a toy for people to play Crazy Birds or whatever. I think they have limited use, and cost way too much.
For the price of these things, I could buy 2 or 3 fully functioning laptops. I paid $250 for the last laptop I bought for my wife 3 years ago, and it works perfectly.

Neil Young. Favorite record, maybe "Tonight's The Night", but extremely hard to pick as there are several brilliant records from Neil.
-
Damn! Right down the road 20 minutes from my house! They don't do a show in Seattle this year, except this guy's wedding?
-
Just like music, it's so difficult to pick a favorite. But I think the last GREAT book that I read was John Irving's "The World According To Garp." I was enthralled from beginning to end, and don't think there's been a book that has caught my imagination like that one did since then.I loved that movie! When Robin Williams was looking to buy a house and a small plane crashes into the side of it, he says "We'll take it! What are the odds of 2 airplanes hitting the same house!". I could relate to that because the first house I ever bought had previously been destroyed by a plane crashing into it. Not kidding. John Irving is good. I also liked "The Hotel New Hampshire" from him.
Best book ever? Impossible to decide. The Bible, I guess.

This weekend is the unlimited hydroplane races on Lake Washington - a Seattle tradition for 60 years. The weather is going to be great and the Blue Angels are in town as usual for their amazing exhibition. Should have a couple of hundred thousand people on the lake this year.
I won't be going down to the lake this year because I'm still rehabbing from the hip replacement surgery, but I'll be watching everything on TV, and I can see the Blue Angels from my house as they pass the north end of the lake.

Definitely popcorn. My wife is an addict!

The only problem I have with this is that it needs to be clearly shown somehow on the record that these are new recordings. I went to buy a Badfinger greatest hits record and it turned out to be new recordings by non-original players - which was not what I wanted.
You can't attempt to fool people. You can't just call it the "Very Best of ELO" because buyers will be expecting the original recordings.

No, but my wife and I were vacationing in Los Angeles in 1984 when the Olympics were there. Actually, we were on our honeymoon, and spent part of it there. Didn't go to any events though.

We always go to the home opener at the Safe, and also went to a game at the Mariner's triple A affiliate, Tacoma Rainiers game a few weeks ago. But I watch nearly every game on TV. Baseball is life.

I hate to keep comparing the kid to his Dad, but my goodness. He not only looks just like George, his voice at times sounds exactly like him. Nice song too.

Seems like George got very bitter there towards the end. Attacking religion in a pretty savage way, among other things.
