  1. So I guess that's it? No west coast shows this year? Didn't Tom say at some point that there would be more shows in the U.S after the Europe shows?
  2. I'll pick the latest one, but I would have guessed sometime even later into the 20th century.
  3. These were part of a "Collegiate" series of guitars from Epiphone several years back. I think they did about 50 colleges. I have the one from my local school - The University of Washington. Not nearly as cool as the Gator version, but hey - the Huskies are my team! I had to do some work to make it a decent player, and I do pull it out and play it once in a while. It has a real PAF in it now. I've never seen another one like mine, so I'm thinking they really didn't sell very many.
  4. These aren't very good guitars, but they are very cool wall hangers! And of course, Mike played one on stage. [ame]http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251143881831&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123[/ame]
  5. My youngest son's 18th birthday a few days ago.
  6. I support it. As somebody once said, any love is good love.
  7. So many brilliant songs. How about "Like A Rolling Stone"? I always loved "Positively 4th Street". Of course the Heartbreakers covered "Rainy Day Women". Always a crowd pleaser. Or Jimi doing "All Along The Watchtower". Or the Byrds doing "Mr. Tambourine Man" or "My Back Pages". Yeah, that one. :-) And on and on.....
  8. The '59 Burst, without question. Second is the Broadcaster.
  9. You mean where would I fall down? And my hands would be frozen anyway, so I wouldn't be able to play.
  10. All of the above. About a year ago I started scanning and saving tons of old family photos - some as old as 100 years. Then I put together an e-mail list of all of the family members I could and started a "picture of the day" thing. Everyone really enjoys it and we're learning a lot about the family.
  11. Yes, and it's crazy expensive with young drivers. Our youngest son will be 18 in a couple of weeks.
  12. There have been a few from my high school - West Seattle HS Dyan Cannon - actress Frances Farmer - actress Jim Whittaker - first American to climb Mt. Everest (my Mom's classmate) Gregory C. Johnson - NASA Space Shuttle Astronaut
  13. I spent $600 for 4 tickets last time. I don't think I'll ever spend that much again, but I wanted my wife and kids to experience a Tom Petty concert up close and personal. And they will never forget that night.
  14. Main body - "Pacific Mist", trim is "Boulder Creek", and accent color is "Terra Cotta Sun". But those names probably don't mean anything to you without seeing the sample.
  15. 3 cell phones and 4 land lines.
  16. Yeah, Mike's got several of those, doesn't he? I've seen him with white, blue, and this red one - all with the matching headstock.
  17. Kind of a neat freak, yes. The family makes fun of me, but when they want something, I always know where it is.
  18. Wow, pretty emotional there from Mike talking about George. You could see he was getting choked up a bit, and so was I.
  19. I've seen The Who and The Kinks a number of times, and Paul Revere and The Raiders are mostly a novelty act at this point. I'd pick The Kinks.
  20. Easy. The filet mignon at Daniel's Broiler in Bellevue, Washington. Best steak I ever had. No contest. Not cheap though. Dinner and drinks for my wife and I was over $200.
  21. Every 6 or 8 weeks. Usually I wait too long and it starts to look shaggy.
  22. Denny's makes a pretty good breakfast, but I don't go there much. It piles on the pounds. I'm a big fan of a donut for breakfast.......which also piles on the pounds.
  23. OK, I watched all of that, and laughed my $%*(*@% *^% off.
