  1. I rarely eat breakfast, but if you count drinking coffee and reading the paper, I probably spend close to an hour every morning.
  2. I once watched the Lord Of The Rings trilogy back to back to back.
  3. Sad to see the end of good weather - it's been incredible in Seattle for the last couple of months. I'm having my 2nd hip replacement this month. It seems I'm addicted to hip replacements. It will be nice to have 2 functional legs again. Congratulations on the new grandchild, Rick!
  4. Movie theater is obviously the best, but I rarely go. It's too expensive.
  5. I think several of those are deserving, but I pick "The Monkees". So many great songs, and yes they played their own instruments. Not at the very start, but by the time of their 3rd album they were playing everything and that record went to #1 also.
  6. A bunch of those already named but also - in Seattle we had a clown named J.P. Patches and he had a morning and afternoon (and Saturday morning) show that I watched every day for years as a kid. I'm still a "Patches Pal". Sadly, J.P. just passed recently.
  7. Foghat at the Paramount Theater in Seattle, 1974.
  8. I play guitar and harmonica, and sing in a band.
  9. Of course "The Beatles", but they only put on a 20 or 25 minute show and there was just screaming the entire time. Still, just the spectacle of it all would have been something to experience. But I was only 5 or 6 years old when they came through town the first time. Of shows that I could have gone to and didn't, 'Wings Over America" in 1976 and "The Band" that same year are two big regrets.
  10. It's the absolute least that every American citizen should do. VOTE!
  11. If I had to pick just one, it would be the Monterey Pop Festival. The 1967 "Summer of Love" and most of the great bands of the era were there. By all accounts, a beautiful moment in music history.
  12. Gotta go with Paul McCartney. He's a Beatle. Pretty decent resume.
  13. Hang out, watch football, play guitar........any or all of the above.
  14. "King Of The Hill", if that one counts. Otherwise, probably "Sweet William". I also really like "License To Kill" from Bobfest.
  15. Can't Stop The Sun. Within the last hour.
  16. No tattoos. I don't understand putting graffiti on one's body. Temporary ones, maybe. But permanent?
  17. 1. What color is your car? In case you don't have a car; what color is your front door? White. Daughter calls it "snowball". But I like Vlad the Impala! 2. Do you have a bike? No. Need hips that work before I can ride again. 2nd hip replacement coming soon! 3. Have you ever been out sailing? Nope. 4. When was the last time you smiled? Always. 5. Do you like offal? After reading the description, no thank you. There is plenty of good food in this world.
  18. In the car I either have a CD going, or my iPhone. The only time I turn the radio on is to listen to an occasional ballgame.
  19. I like "Perception", and I'm going to check out "Revolution". And "Sons" is finally back!
  20. Just started playing music for small parties when we were in high school, and then larger parties, and then eventually, in bars. But I still to this day get nervous before a gig. It goes away by the time the first song is over. I think plenty of big stars are the same way. They never get over the nerves before a show.
  21. Play guitar would be number 1, but the TV is pretty much always on.
