  1. Downloadlink is over here...
  2. The Kids Are Alright - The Who
  3. I can't wait to download this tomorrow.
  4. LOL!!! And George Drakoulias produced Damn The Torpedoes. Geez, what an expert. I sincerely doubt there were any Gibson guitars involved in Learning To Fly, Free Fallin' or I Won't Back Down...
  5. I Don't Want To Die In An Air Disaster - Albert Hammond
  6. Great pictures! Looks like you had a ball! I'm having my own little listening party tonight. A couple of musician friends of mine are opening their rehearsal room, so we'll be able to turn it up real loud. Hope we'll have as much fun as you did!
  7. Thanks everyone! Time for bed now...
  8. And it sounds sooooooo good! If I didn't have any ears, I'd smile in a circle... My fiancee's outside in the garden just shaking her head...:icon_laugh:!
  9. Uploading it now, Joehoskinson! Link should be ready in a couple of minutes... Thanks for your download links! This way for the Mudcrutch interview...
  10. I'm a very happy person right now! Where release dates are concerned, Europe is a pretty good place for Tom-Petty-fans. It makes up for the lack of a live show a bit... Back on cloud 9 now...
  11. Well, it seems Mr Gill has actually listenend to this album! Kudos and thanks for a fine piece of writing! Thanks, SLQ!
  12. Would be absoultely great if someone could tape this...is it still called "taping" :017: ?? Pretty please.
  13. Agreed! I guess we need another Fillmore session. Heck, I'd even fly in from Germany for that!
  14. Great!!!! Thanks for the link, maryjane & TWOF!
  15. I guess it really is like Marion put it - if you're not much into the bluesy, rootsy music, then you won't like Mojo that much. My fiancee isn't crazy about it, and she doesn't like the Buried Treasure shows either. That's why I believe in the strong correlation between Mojo and the radio shows. Blues didn't always appeal to me, mind. But the BT shows opened my mind for it, made me see how strong this music can be and how powerful it can be on the soul if you let it work on you. That's why -to me- Mojo is the perfect album at the moment. It combines the music I enjoy hearing most right now with my favorite artist and band. I love the sound of Mojo and how I can find other artists in the sound of it (RMB - The Animals, FFOF - The Allmans, ISHKI - Led Zeppelin, TMT - Muddy Waters...), but I can absolutely and totally understand anybody who doesn't dig it. That's why life is so beautiful - freedom of thought and opinion. I do feel bad for the_refugees, there's little worse than being a devoted fan (with his own tribute band, too) who's disappointed by his favorite artist's new longplayer. Hope the album grows on you, though, t_r!
  16. Green Onions - Booker T & The MGs
  17. The picture must be from the album's cover shoot (same clothes, same shades, same hairdo). Let's see...I downloaded the cover shoot picture on April 23rd. Which means, probably by mid-April the vinyl was already pressed. Seems even stranger now to think about the re-routing of the tour and the postponement of the album release date...
  18. Now THAT is an interview! Very profound, very interesting! Thanks, SLQ!
  19. This isn't an album review at all, it's a review on business strategies, the music industry and ticket prices... :jpshakehead: Missed the subject. Next please.
  20. ^My thoughts exactly... Plus: “Driving Back to Georgia” is actually “Driving Down to Georgia”. And Mike's on-stage Les Paul isn't the '59 original but a replica (okay, this is farmers in-depth info )...
  21. And I believe he'll never sound like Dylan sounds these days...with all due love and respect for him, Bob's barking his songs into the microphone now...
  22. Man, "No Reason To Cry" is so pure...what a great song! What a great album! This really is a complete Buried Treasure show by one vituoso band...
