  1. You're forwarded to http://eurostore.warnermusic.com/ when you're ordering from Europe. That's Warner Music's European web store. Anything you order from there shouldn't take too long, if not on time. And you won't have any hassle with customs. You'll get the digital album download on release date in MP3 and FLAC format, at least that's what they provided with previous orders.
  2. Thanks for recording the announcement and Keep A Little Soul, Marion!! The fact that they didn't include The Woods, Little Girl Blues, Mystery Of Love, Somewhere Under Heaven etc. leaves room for speculations over upcoming releases! 🙂 I really was expecting WF All the Rest (since it's supposed to be almost completely done), but looking forward to this one even more. It spans over the whole career and therefore makes more sense being the first posthumous release.
  3. I sure hope all Texan farmers are okay! I know LizzieB is safe, thank goodness... Sending good thoughts over!
  4. Absolutely, had a brilliant time and met some very nice Pettyheads from the US, England, Scotland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Russia and Singapore! It was truly an international get-together!
  5. I was at BST Hyde Park in London last Sunday - it was a fabulous show, the venue was breathtaking and the crowd was really cool, no pushing or shoving. The boys rocked the place! Yes, the set list is repetitive, but it works just so well on stage. No wonder Tom decides on playing these songs. 65,000 tickets were sold that night, 65,000 smiles all the way. The Shelters, The Lumineers, Stevie Nicks with Waddy Wachtel in her band, and our boys - the were all top of the notch. I've uploaded some pictures in the gallery:
  6. I hope we'll get Time To Move On in London as well. It's one of my all time favorites, definitely in my Top 5. I'm still getting used to the idea of background singers. It somehow irritates my sense of the band as a bunch of musketeers. But if it serves the art, so be it.
  7. Tour starts in a couple of hours - have a great time this time around! Is anybody in Oklahoma City?
  8. Happy belated birthday Ryan! Oh, and happy 4/20 too! 😉
  9. Strange and intoxicating! Wait till you hear my American accent, you'll be even more confused... We'll talk in London! [emoji6]
  10. Frohes Neues Jahr - Blwyddyn Newydd Dda - Happy New Year to my fellow farmers! See ya on the road!
  11. I was very sad when I read about his passing yesterday. I used to like WHAM! and his solo work in the late 80s and early 90s a lot. I was a teenager then and his cleverly made pop music was omnipresent. He was a very gifted songwriter and a gentle soul. I only learned of his generosity today, he gave so much of his wealth to charity. Rest well, Yog.
  12. - acoustic version of Learning to Fly - Two Men Talkin was better live in Mannheim than it was on the Soundstage recording (okay, both live, but hey...)
  13. Check this out: http://www.nme.com/news/music/tom-petty-reveals-expect-2017-hyde-park-show-1913568 😊
  14. Yep. The kids aren't old enough and the wife isn't tall enough for the event. I'll get back to you when the time comes. I'm sure we can meet for a cold one in that Summer Garden!
  15. At least I'm getting some ultra-fragrant super special separate toilet facilities at that Hyde Park gig for that kinda money! I call it the "First Flush of Freedom Package"! [emoji23]
  16. You're absolutely right. And I'll quit the "bribery" the minute Tom & the boys stop touring. Promise! Until then, I don't need to swallow or feel bad about anything. I'm just happy to see my favorite band live.
  17. Hey! You should have received a separate code for Hyde Park. It came in a mail from HCC re "London Show at Hyde Park Announced!" and is 6 characters long. This one worked for me.
  18. Okay, after almost 24 hours I'm able to breathe again... - I got a Diamond Circle Ticket (and payed more for admission than I initially wanted - but hey, you get separate toilet facilities! ) - I booked a sleazy hotel room (because, let's face it, anything below 400 quid for 2 nights in London is sleazy) - and I booked a flight (which was a bargain compared to #s 1 and 2) The only other option for me would have been attending the two shows at Red Rocks, but airfare alone would have been what ticket, hotel and flight sum up to. Hyde Park isn't my venue of choice, but it'll sure be a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
  19. What would be the alternative except for low-res DVD?
  20. The only venue that would justify 5000 miles of air travel for me is Red Rocks. Two concert tickets plus airfare from Europe, plus a rental car, plus accommodation plus a ridiculuous amount of beer would come to around 1100$. However, I'm pretty sure this will be another greatest hits tour, it's their 40th anniversary tour after all - playing Wildflowers + its phantom "all the rest" in its entirety doesn't make any sense here. So with a heavy heart I believe -again- I must hope for a concert BluRay that will never come.
