    I keep it all in and con myself into thinking that I am handling it all just fine and then it starts to show itself physically - my arms start to ache - it's really weird. A few months ago, I had an ongoing tremor in my left hand for several weeks and I knew...stress. Lol. That's when I realize what's going on and I try to get a better perspective...and a good cry helps too. ;)

    A few years ago we had several major things happen at once and I wasn't sleeping at all - my doctor prescribed Effexor and I took it for a few months and unfortunately, my particular experience was horrible. I stopped taking it because of the side effects and now just try to find other ways to deal with things....I know they work great for some people though.

    ^ I am currently going through that right now Ref and I have resigned that since I can't figure it out, I'm going to just let it go and see if the reason reveals itself eventually....

    The Hawaiian Ironman Triathlon

    The Hawaii Ironman is one of my husband's goals in life. He's not very close to doing it - lol - but I tell him to get busy and get on it so that we can go to Hawaii.

    Not sure what I would do...the NY marathon or the Mud Run at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside sounds fun...

    I love that my son was watching me type on here and said "Patty Petty, Pumpkin Bumpkin...at least those names are better than Square One - that's stupid!" leave it to kids to tell the truth. LOL I also love that when I played Lover of the Bayou for this same son, he said the guitars were cool but the singing needed help. He needs some TPATH 101. ;)

    1. What album/cd do you play when you are happy? Anything good on the radio or sometimes I'll pop in the Mudcrutch CD just to listen to Lover of the Bayou followed by Topanga Cowgirl. Reminds me of hearing them play it (L of the B) at the Troubador and I just stood in awe...so happy.. :)

    2. What album/cd do you play when you're sad? I always seem to pull out Coldplay's X and Y - for some reason I feel alternately sad and hopeful when I listen to it.

    3. What was the last song you listened to?

    I can't remember.. I have the song Amber by 311 going on in my head. Don't know why, I don't even really like it. I just woke up with it.

    4. What was the last song or album/cd you purchased?

    ^ ^ Ref, I love the Surfs Up soundtrack! ...I love the movie too. My friends are getting married in Hawaii and I got them a gift certificate for surfing lessons and included that movie with it and they just looked at me like "what?" lol......... I think it is such a cute movie.
