Thanks for the information. I hope they leave the segments up on the link Donna gave us for a while so when I get time I can listen. -

I got mine this afternoon via UPS. I am enjoying the Santa Monica 1978 DVD as I type. It is a neat, nice package. I wish the booklet had included more picturesand they had been in color, but the ones in it are alright. I wish I could keep looking and listening, but I am having company this weekend so I need to get back to the fun task of cleaning. I got a psychedelic looking pattern notepad with The Live Anthology written on it. It is just paper. I keep looking through it--hoping that their autographs or Benmont's at least (LOL) was written in it. I hope the rest of you get your copy soon.

I thought the article was interesting. I wanted the actual magazine to see the pictures and couldn't find it locally where I live. I found it on Ebay, and I hope I get it soon.

What Music Are You Listening To Right Now?
HeartbreakerFan replied to Refugee's topic in Creative Corner
Play On - Carrie Underwood If you like Carrie, you would probably enjoy her new album. She has a wide gamut of sounds--from sassy to country to pop. On one song, Vince Gill does backup vocals and their voices blend so well. On another song, she does a duet with the Sons of Sylvia who were originally called The Clark Brothers when they won The Next Great American Band. Some of these brothers--not sure which ones--were in her tour band before they won the TNGAM Contest. These guys are originally from the county north of me (Rocky Mount, VA) so I would love to see them make it big. They are suppose to be releasing their new album in 2010 under their new name of the Sons of Sylvia. The song that they play on and one of them does vocals with Carrie, "What Can I Say," is very pretty and reminds me of a boy band tune for some reason. Sorry I went on so, but lately it is so rare that I purchase an album and actually like more than one or two songs. -

I think that those of us that bought the Super Highway online should receive a CD with the commentaries on it (if they aren't included in the deluxe set which if it is included it is not mentioned anywhere). It kinda hurt to find out that the fans that purchased this online didn't really get a break on the deluxe set--which I already have pre-ordered through the site. My problem is I really never have more than a few minutes to download songs and skim through an article or two so I guess I am not getting my money's worth on the Super Highway Tour.

I loved the review Beth! You always seem to know how to be in the right place at the right time. What a great picture of you and Jude--lucky girl. I loved Jenny Funnel on As Time Goes By--did you get a picture with her. I always loved her cute short cut on that show and always wished my naturally wavy hair would do that (but no it wouldn't)--how does she have her hair now. I am so glad you had such a wonderful time. -
Wonder if Benmont used the wig tonight for Halloween? He probably did; I think he makes a cute blond Beatle.

I wonder why bad stuff keeps happening to kids associated with my alma mater, Virginia Tech. A girl from Roanoke who attends Virginia Tech went to the Metallica concert Saturday night in Charlottesville and is now missing. The Charlottesville police found her pocketbook and cell phone without its battery in the parking lot of the venue after the concert. I hope they find her alive and well. Two Tech students, a girlfriend and boyfriend, were shot and killed at Jefferson National Forest which is close to Tech about a month or more ago--it looked liked robbery. It saddens me that this stuff keeps happening.
