  1. 1. What is the title of the last movie you watched on DVD? I can't really remember--probably Madgascar with my grandson. 2. If you could spend one day as an animal, which animal would you pick and why? My kitty, Milo, who has it made. 3. If you won a lottery and received $100 million dollars in one lump sum, which person would get the first check you write? I am sure I will never have to worry about that one. 4. If you could have a career in the music industry, which job would it be? Maybe a music producer 5. Describe your earliest memory of your love for music: I fell in love with rock and roll when I was around five and saw my older cousin dancing to the music on American Bandstand on her television. 6. Which deceased relative of yours would you most like to sit down to dinner with and what would you most want to ask them? I would like to have met my Mom's mother who died in childbirth when my Mom was 18 years old. I always wondered what she would have been like since my step-grandmother was not really the grandmotherly type.
  2. Will they upload this show somewhere in a clear sound version where you can watch it? I thought it would never start. When it did start, it sounded pretty good. It keep going on and off, freezing, and when I finally gave up everything he did was singing was echoing so much it was annoying. If my Ustream had worked correctly, I think it would have been a great show.
  3. 1. Do you have a driver's license? How old were you when you first got your license? Yes; I was 16. 2. Who taught you how to drive? Both of my parents 3. What was the model of the car you first drove on your own? 1969 Impala 4. CDs: the best thing ever? CDs are fine 5. You've just won a thousand dollars! How would you spend it? I wouldn't spend it; I would probably save it for a rainy day when I might need it.
  4. Thanks for sharing your great pics. Try again to post your great pic of Benmont--I would like to see it also.
  5. I hope I can get online and the U-Stream will work for me Friday night. I like songs on both of Brian's albums. He just seems like one of the nicest guys in his interviews I have viewed or listened to.
  6. Thanks for sharing your great pictures.
  7. I would love to see Brian with his band. I think he played at The Mint last week and all the comments were about how great the show and the band were that night.
  8. Just wanted to let you know I was quite disappointed in the Band of Joy album. I have tried several times to listen to this album but I always end up ejecting it. The three or four songs previewed in the above link were the best songs. Maybe the songs on this album are just are not my kind of music. I didn't even think they showcased Robert's voice that well. In my opinion, he needs to stay away from Buddy Miller, go find T-Bone Burnett and beg him to produce another album, and beg Alison to sing with him again (her angelic voice blended so well with his). I truly didn't think Patty Griffin's voice blended or sounded that good with Robert's voice.
  9. Hope you have a very Happy Birthday!
  10. Donna I am so glad you had a great time at both of your shows. I hope your Mike and Danny will keep on the mend and be back to good health soon.
  11. Brian Ray tweeted the statement below asking people to sign the petition so that musicians can carry most instruments with them on board airplanes. I know there are some musicians on this site, plus I think most of you would support this idea. Brian Ray's Tweet: Help pass a bill? Sure!! Let's get a standard policy allowing musicians to carry-on their instruments! http://bit.ly/byWKfY
  12. Marion, thanks for sharing all of your photos. I enjoyed looking at those.
  13. Those pictures were really good Donna. Thanks so much for sharing.
  14. Hope you have a very Happy Birthday, Ron.
  15. 1. What is your very favorite TP&TH album? (You can only name one) Damn the Torpedoes 2. What are your three favorite TP&TH songs? Refugee, You Wreck Me, and Running Down a Dream 3. Who is your favorite Heartbreaker? Why? Benmont is my favorite, because he is so talented and cute. 4. Where and when did you see your very best TP&TH concert? September, 1999, in Charlotte, NC 5. How old were you when you discovered TP&TH's music and got hooked? My first remembrance of TP&TH's is in 1978 on The Midnight Special, and they definitely hooked me on their music. The video of Refugee clinched their hold on me as a fan forever. 6. Name your favorite song off of MOJO? I Should Have Known It
  16. I had to laugh when I was going through the music channels yesterday--there was Taylor 3 times on the 3 different country video channels--GAC, CMT, and CMT Pure Country. She actually has the No. 1 video on CMT for "Mine." This morning I was going through the channels and No. 8 on the VH1 countdown--Taylor Swift with "Mine." I left it on VH1 Top Twenty Countdown for awhile while I was getting ready to go to church--I think I know why she is popular. The other few videos and songs I heard were really not that good. She at least sounded a little different than the others on VH1 and as they always said on American Bandstand--her song had a good beat.
  17. 1. Are you more of a dog or a cat person? I am a total cat person. 2. How many pets do you presently have? Two--Milo and Snoopy. 3. What’s the best thing about your pets? They are sweet and loving. 4. What’s the weirdest thing your pet has done? I don't guess it is weird, but Milo always lays near me when I have a migraine. 5. Plans for any more pets? No more at the present time.
  18. Teardrops on My Guitar - Taylor Swift
