I hated the look on that little girl's face while she was getting her hair fixed for a beauty pageant. It was really sad because I know she would rather have spent her Saturday afternoon playing with kids her own age. I'm not against beauty pageants, but if the kid isn't in to it, I don't think it's fair to the child. /end of rant

I confess that when it comes to my husband's family, I feel left out.

Go to my nephew's wedding. The kids were in it. The girls did a fine job as flower girls, my little two-year-old ringbearer made it halfway down the aisle before turning around. LOL They told us to be there at 11 (dress up/fix hair, etc.), pictures were supposed to be at 12. Wedding at 2. The groomsmen weren't dressed up until like 1:30 to be taking pictures! Sheesh! After walking around in heels for hours and my lunch consisting of nothing more than 2 french fries, I'm exhausted!
