    Not really, at least in my opinion. It's got Dean Fertita playing guitar and Jack playing drums, from what I understand. And so much of The Racounteurs' sound comes from Brendan Benson, so I would image this is going to be very different.

    Jack seems to like variety. I like that about him.

    See I've only had the chance to hear the White Stripes which I really like but never the Racounteurs so I wouldn't really know. I'm sure I'd like it

    Maybe it´s just because they wanna have some privacy.........

    They're not asking for what they are doing in their lives but band status. Nobody wants paparazzi like news about where they ate and all that garbage what the status is on an upcoming album or tour and other projects. That isn't too much to ask for

    Well remember, there was a lot of time between Echo and The last DJ...And then a while between The last DJ and highway companion. So its only been three years. I expect one in 2010 pretty much. Its going to be killer when it does come out though, considering hes been working on it this long.

    No it's been 6 years. The solo album doesn't come close to counting seeing as only Tom and Mike worked on it. And I don't think they've written anything for it yet at all
